Covid stimulus is like the Biden administration's sole chance at not being dumpstered at midterms and 2024. The economy is gonna nosedive harshly otherwise and the sitting president always eats that one.

More important than stimulus is an effective plan and coherent message to get Covid19 under control. Trump's personality made it impossible for him to rally the country on this issue, and we're usually pretty good at rallying when the shit gets serious. I'm hopeful that Biden can get people to come together on this one issue. All the stimulus in the world will help in the short term, but we've got to do better at fighting Covid or the economy will just fumble along at astronomical cost with lasting impact.
Covid19 should be a wake-up call. It illustrates the danger of running the country in the red for so long. We've got to work to balance the budget at some point or the economy will be crippled. Unfortunately we really can't do it in the middle of a crisis.

I think COVID and Infrastructure are two major areas where there's centrist agreement, and Biden can work with that. I'm also hoping for climate change/renewable energy action (beginning with rejoining the Paris Climate Accord).

Yup, Covid-19 is #1. Whatever it takes.

The pandemic, stimulus package, infrastructure, Paris climate accord, repairing our fractured alliances and image across the world.

Problem is McConnell is going to sabotage any stimulus coming in. And I would venture so far to say that Trump and McConnell will do all their best in the few weeks they have to scuttle the economy and spread covid to make Biden’s life as absolutely unbearable as possible.

I don’t think so, McConnell and Biden have a long history of working together, they both have a great mutual respect for each other and have made and worked on many deals together. McConnell also knows any bill that passes he can put any blame on Biden.

I don't think we will see any serious legislation on the GND until after 2022. 2022 is going to be all out war for those congressional seats. Democrats stand a good chance at picking up some seats in Iowa, the gubernatorial race here should be a cinch for the Democrats.

Easy things Biden has said he will do right after the inauguration..
Rehire Fauci, whom Trump said he would fire after the election. Trump will be doing Biden a huge, huge, huge political favor if Trump follows through on his promise to fire Fauci.
Rejoin WHO.
Call NATO allies and tell them that they are not the enemy.
Rejoin the Paris climate accord.

Lots of talk, no action. Like most administrations.
A national plan for Covid. It affects everything. Fixing Covid will fix the economy. Its all gravy from there.

Fuckin tacos, obviously.
and what Back said, federal Covid plan.
and an about face on climate change policy for the US. We need to lead.
I forgot about tacos. Definitely tacos. And the environment. Its really the key to our future on this planet. People need to stop listening to politicians and instead listen to the scientists, educators, researchers, journalists, and people who actually know what the fuck they are talking about.
We are talking about the first 100 days of the next presidency but what needs to happen right now is Trump needs to get some help to those red states who voted for him because their Covid case rates are getting worse. The US hit 120k new cases and 1300 deaths yesterday. Thats a new record since April.

Covid response is the priority.
Repairing relationships abroad and reasserting ourselves in the international community, since during the last 4 years without our presence other nations like China have rushed in to fill the vacuum.

Definitely COVID.
We just had 100k Americans diagnosed with COVID today. Again. Third day in a row I believe that we've been around 100k.
Trump left Biden a hell of a mess. Arguably the biggest COVID mess in the world. It's going to be a long, slow slog to get ourselves back to a healthy space.

Trump left Biden a hell of a mess.
Look at this bitch here already starting on the "This is all Trump's fault!"
This going to be the left's mantra for the next 4-8 years if Biden wins, just like everything bad that happened during Obama's terms was all Bush's fault?

Dumps nonstop downplay and denial of covid, combined with his zero effort to combat the virus has magnified it tenfold.
Shut the fuck up with that.

You don't think the state the US is in has anything to do with who was running it the past 4 years?
That's a hot fucking take.

Nobody is stopping Covid. Look at Europe and all their variety of plans. Nothing will stop it except a vaccine. If we don't stop the shutdowns, the economy (not mine, I'm in the stock market that's at all time highs) will just fucking die.
Restaurants, shopping malls, movie theatres, places that cut your hair, etc... anyone who relies on in person service are going to go tits up until we find a rational solution that lets people frequent public gatherings. Trump nor Biden have a plan to address this, nor does any European country.

Biden already promised to lockdown the virus so what's the problem here? Biden is months away from becoming president if he wins and the excuses are already pouring in for why he won't magically make the China flu situation better. I thought all we needed was new leadership to fix this? I guess y'all are just a bunch of lying sacks of shit who used fear to push your new illegitimate leader through. At least you all are finally being honest about your dishonesty and corruption.

Thailand, Vietnam, and almost every other SEA, and East Asian country would disagree with you. Restaurants, shopping malls, theaters, hairdressers are all open. Even if you combined all of them together, to match and/or exceed the US population. They have pretty much stopped the virus. So what did they do, that we didn’t do?
Shit, even in China, everything is back to how it was pre-Covid-19 days, in terms of every day life.
