It didn't have to be this way.

Between tax cuts for the top 1 percent and a wholly ineffective pandemic response, we're here.

Or, a simpler solution, stop paying 3/5ths of the budget (according to 2015 numbers) out in entitlement payments.

The general revenue budget is completely separate from Medicare and Social Security, which are paid for using separate withholdings. Entitlements ensure the safety of our most underprivileged and vulnerable, stop trying to kill them off Adolf

Until you see firsthand the kind of people that use welfare and what they do with it......it is criminal. The weak and lazy will always try to champion the weak and lazy.

No. Medicare and Social Security are not the only entitlements. They haven't been separated since Clinton lumped everything together to "balance" his budget. And entitlements enslave the poor and keep them poor.

Welfare programs are supposed to be stop gap measures.. safety net programs.. to get you through a difficult time until you can stand up on your own two feet.

and like everything else, people abuse it. Give them an inch and they will take a mile, its so true. Same reason people would not go to work when they were given too much added to unemployment checks. Inherent good in people is decidedly small when it comes to money.
