If I’m in a presidential debate in front of millions of viewers and I’m directly asked that question? Yes I would answer it. Because it’s not difficult to say “yes”. Stand back and stand by each have connotations that says just wait. Stand down is more final and saying stop. When the military communicates, when they are checking on something or want someone to wait, they say stand by. When they want someone to not go through with their orders, they say stand down. I get that intelligence isn't your strong suit, but it's not that hard. Trump is the one twisting words around. If he really felt that way, why hasn't he since come out and spoken about it, and very clearly stated it?


The reason Trump can't come out and very clearly state that he doesn't support white supremacy and the Proud Boys is because it would be a lie that he doesn't believe. Even as someone who plans to vote for trump, I think those last few sentences do in fact describe him fairly accurately. But the simple fact is, from chasing people out of restaurants and movie theaters at the start, to making up lies to destroy peoples lives and then recently physically assaulting people in the streets for just being of a different political party (or being a cop), the other side has done enough to keep me voting against them gaining power for the foreseeable future.

I hadn't seen that interview, which I pretty clearly stated in my opening sentence. There's one or two times in there where he clearly denounces it, then there's 50 others where it isn't really all that clear. Perhaps he should work on being honest and articulating his points better. It would help instead of rambling like a madman half the time.

It wouldn't change my opinion of him either way because in my book narcissists are some of the worst people and there's no way I'll ever respect them. My second ex-wife was a textbook narcissist, and I learned my lesson the hard way. I didn't know much about narcissism until I had experienced it, and they seem like great people at first, but then their true colors show in that they only care about themselves.
