A new major question involves Rep. Devin Nunes, a key Trump defender at the hearings into whether the president and his allies tried to push Ukraine into investigating Democrats in the U.S., especially former Vice President Joe Biden. Late Friday, CNN reported that Lev Parnas, an indicted associate of Trump personal lawyer Rudolph W. Giuliani, was prepared to tell Congress that Nunes had met late last year in Vienna with former Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin to obtain information about Biden and his son.

On Sunday, in a Fox News interview, the Republican congressman from Tulare, Calif., declined to directly answer a question about the allegation but threatened to sue CNN (https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2019-11-24/nunes-impeachment-allegation-ukrainian-ex-prosecutor) for reporting it. (He’s also recently sued other journalism organizations, a stone-fruit farmer and a fake cow (https://www.latimes.com/opinion/story/2019-10-20/abcarian-sunday-column).)

I think this is the report from CNN that upset Nunes..

(CNN)A lawyer for an indicted associate of Rudy Giuliani told CNN that his client is willing to tell Congress about meetings the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee had in Vienna last year with a former Ukrainian prosecutor to discuss digging up dirt on Joe Biden.

In the Capitol on Nov. 14, as CNN began to ask a question about the trip to Vienna, Nunes interjected and said, "I don't talk to you in this lifetime or the next lifetime."

"At any time," Nunes added. "On any question."

Whoa! Nunes already shut CNN out of his next lifetime.

I hope they also investigate where all of a sudden all of hiis "campaign contributions" are coming from. He's even more crooked than most.

Unitemized individual contributions = “Small” contributions from individuals who in total donate less than $200 to a campaign. These donors do not need to be reported to the FEC.
Nunes’ unitemized contributions of $3,439,977.41 are not too far off from the $5,626,992 Trump raised in unitemized contributions for his presidential campaign.
Nunes’ jump from 1% to 46% of his campaign funds coming from unitemized contributions and his increase of $25,000 in 2016 to $3M in 2018 is unlike anything seen in the House since 2002.
Average amount raised per House member in 2018: $379,639. Total raised by Nunes: $7.4M.
Nunes’ jump from 1% to 46% of his campaign funds coming from unitemized contributions and his increase of $25,000 in 2016 to $3M in 2018 is unlike anything seen in the House since 2002.

Devin Nunes’ Unitemized individual contributions per year:
Year Amount
2018 $3,439,927.41
2016 $25,038.01
2014 $21,008.79
2012 $14,248.88
2010 $10,645.00
2008 $7,487.97
2006 $10,179.23
2004 $10,049.33
2002 $29,913.95

2018 46%
2016 1%
2014 1%
2012 <1%
2010 <1%
2008 <1%

2004 1.3%
2002 2.4%

It’s almost like there was an important election that many voters were energized for in 2018 and Nunes is a Republican in a blue state where Republicans were projected to do poorly so a lot of people donated to his campaign to help make sure he didn’t lose his seat.

Or you’re suffering from TDS and it’s what you’re implying.

Because none of those other years were election years and this one guy just happens to jump that much in one cycle to the next and almost matches the president for his contributions...
And yes, this one guy is sooooo important he outraised everyone else by miles.

Because none of those other years

I didn't say none of those other years were election years, try to keep up.

Did you raise a similar stink when Robert O'dipshit raised 38.1 million dollars for his senate race in a single quarter, shattering all previous records for a senate race? Shit that's more money than most candidates for president raise in a single quarter. O'Dipshit also raised over 80 million dollars in total for his senate run, something almost completely unheard of for a senate race. And hey look at that, it was also during the 2018 election cycle. Almost as if the 2018 election cycle was one of the most important election cycles we have had in the US in a very long time.

We need to investigate O'Dipshit! This ain't right! Oh, oh wait that's right, he's a Democrat so it's just a conspiracy theory when he's involved but we have to investigate Republicans for the same shit.

Are you implying his contributions were illegal somehow?

Good luck suing the press as a politician. He'd have better luck trying to take guns away. He won't actually do it of course, because of discovery.
