Good economic news for Trump's reelection prospects! Half of the country has as much wealth today as they did in 2003. There are a few of you who I hope are in that good half.


The decadelong economic expansion has showered the U.S. with staggering new wealth driven by a booming stock market and rising house prices.

But that windfall has passed by many Americans. The bottom half of all U.S. households, as measured by wealth, have only recently regained the wealth lost in the 2007-2009 recession and still have 32% less wealth, adjusted for inflation, than in 2003, according to recent Federal Reserve figures. The top 1% of households have more than twice as much as they did in 2003.

*I said literally instead of conservatively. It's likely more than 20x, but I'm only looking at assets I had in 2003, and not other tangible things I have today like a nearly paid off home, two paid off cars, no debt.

its hilarious to see politician after politician get up and say blah blah blah no one has money, blah blah blah such and such does not have access to education.

I don't see a single one get up there and say look......there is a large percentage of unemployed people that no matter who is in office, and what policy is......will be a worthless fuck, will not work, will try to collect free money from government, etc etc.
