You're a Mexican. No one cares about those tribes. We only care about the ones that came from the East Coast.

I'm part Mexican. Part Navajo, which is a distant relation to the Apache.

I'm claiming 1/1024th Cherokee and going to open a womens studies interpretive dance studio. Dolla bills ya'll! I'm also going to attend school full time (while running my non-profit) and get 50K a year in government free loans. FUCK YEAH. EVERYTHING IS FREE BITCHES.

So when can I get reparations from your tribe? I am 1/64th Creek, you Cherokee came down south, waged war, enslaved our people and absorbed our tribe as quickly as you could, few of us remained when the white settlers put our kids in mission schools. I want my casino money, we know you rake it in from Harrah's and others.

</sarcasm only slightly, I would get status if I had a shorter line, but I also look about as white as white gets so that doesn't help>

Once I get reparations from Spain, I will pass down 1/64th reparations to you from Cherokee. Also, over 4000 years ago I came from Africa, so I'm also claiming my African reparations, I'll cut you in for part of it if you provide me with a DNA test showing you have 1/3024th African. Also, I'm gender X, so I'll expect reparations for being the 32nd gender on the LGBTQXYZABC+ spectrum. I also noticed my pubs are very curly, and sometimes I see a red one. I'm claiming Irish inheritance tax and expect to make a ton from that as well when I sue the British. Also, I like firearms and blowing shit up, so I'll be claiming a muslim exception on my next tax form.

Apparently he's such a shit candidate for both positions that he's worried he's going to lose both.

"Swalwell had sent mixed signals on his intention to run again if his White House bid failed. In February, before announcing his candidacy, Swalwell told the San Francisco Chronicle he would “burn the boats” and not look back on his House seat.“I would want people to know that I’m putting my all into this and I don’t have a life insurance policy,” he said. But more recently, Swalwell wavered in his vow to seek the presidency or bust."

Swallow is such a douche he can't even keep his promise from 4 months ago.

Based on the "Squad", Biden/Bern and all the other losers I'm making an early prediction. Repubs win back the house, keep senate and Trump is re-elected.

The silent American's watching the debacle in the house, the rampant identity politics, the complete hypocrisy and false narratives imagined by dem leaders, and a do nothing congress will make Trump more popular than ever. Also, no one will vote in a socialist, and to win the dem nom it's gonna have to be a socialist.

I also predict AOC will have a strong (Republican) challenger in her primary, but she'll keep her seat.

In summary, the tears of liberal retards with TDS will replenish our natural water reserves.

Scherie Murray is latest Republican to run for AOC’s seat (https://nypost.com/2019/07/17/republican-jamaican-immigrant-is-latest-to-run-for-aocs-seat/)

https://thenypost.files.wordpress.com/2019/07/aoc-challenger.jpg?quality=90&strip=all&w=618&h=410&crop=1

Scherie Murray, a Jamaican-born woman who grew up in Queens and founded a TV production and advertising company, plans to run for the congressional seat held by Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, according to a report.

“There is a crisis in Queens, and it’s called AOC,” Murray, 38, told Fox News. “And instead of focusing on us, she’s focusing on being famous. Mainly rolling back progress and authoring the job-killing Green New Deal and killing the Amazon New York deal.”

The Republican, who moved to the US when she was 9, slams the New York progressive darling in an introductory video.

“Your representative in Washington chooses self-promotion over service, conflict over constituents, resistance over assistance,” Murray says in the video.

“Queens and the Bronx needs someone who will create jobs instead of turning them away.”

Asked about AOC’s brand of Democratic socialism, Murray told Fox News: “I think it’s far, far to the left and it is not connecting with everyday Americans.”

As for “Medicare-for-all,” which Ocasio-Cortez, 29, has backed, Murray said: “Medicare-for-all, I think a lot of people are happy with their current health insurance.”

And on the Green New Deal, the climate change plan championed by AOC, she said: “We know that it certainly will kill jobs.”

Murray joins four other Republicans — former cop John Cummings, journalist Ruth Papazian, construction contractor Miguel Hernandez and businessman Antoine Tucker — who have filed to run for her seat.

So far, no Democrats have announced a primary challenge to Ocasio-Cortez, who shocked the Democratic Party establishment in 2018 by toppling Rep. Joe Crowley in a primary.

Murray, a full-time mom who worked for the city’s Jamaica Bus Depot as a teen, founded a TV production and advertising company called The Esemel Group in 2004.

Oh, I was wondering wtf you were going on about. Thought you had the big one. Then I realized the democrat debates were on.

It's honestly so surreal. The 2015 primaries for both parties were a big deal, all over the news and social media. Every time a candidate from either party opened their mouth it was front page national news.

This time around though I am hardly hearing about the primaries at all. I have heard next to nothing from any candidate since the last primary. I honestly didn't even know the debates were going on tonight.

I know it's partly because we didn't have an incumbent president in 2016 compared to this time but still, seems like the Democrats aren't getting much press at all. I know a huge part of this is because the press is too busy shitting on Trump whenever possible but honestly getting this little amount of press coverage can't be good for the Democrats. On the other hand maybe the media know the Democrats are spewing nothing but shit policies so they think not giving them much press coverage is a good thing for them, and it might be the right call.

I was watching shark week. And I think it is because the RNC debates were very energizing. Between all the candidates and Donald Trump, it was amazing TV. I think that is something that helped the RNC in the election that year. The DNC is just.. Uninspired.

Biden and Harris will be the focus of attention tonight.

Democrats are making a huuuge mistake placing Biden and Kamala on the same stage this early.

Really the only question at this point is, does Biden have the balls to stand up to the 3rd wave feminists?

If I were Biden this would be the first thing out of my mouth tonight: "Before answering your question I would like to personally put aside this crazy notion that our President is a racist, I do not think Donald Trump is a racist."

Then I would focus on labeling every far-left idea as poorly thought out fantasies.

I'm still counting on a "surprise" candidate to come out in the next couple weeks. Because there ain't no fucking way you have this many terrible candidates on accident.

He can’t, given his work with segregationists in the past. He should just tell Kamala that if she plays her cards right, he will select her as VP. If that doesn’t work, tell her that she can sleep with him to get a step up on her competition.

She’s been known to sleep with guys to get promotions in the past...

I heard her a few times. She was pretty well studied, but still kinda weird. I think she "won" because it showed she isn't a complete whacko with no idea what is going on. She is just "fucking weird" but knows about the events. Others looked bad. I was glad to see some Dem's calling out Warren and Sanders though.

I'm not "far right" at all, but I do lean to the right. Trump has done a terrific job as president, much better than I anticipated. Is he "mean" sometimes? Sure. Are we voting for who does a good job as president or who is the nicest? Because if we're voting for who is the nicest Trump still wins, at least he's not calling everyone who votes for his opponent racist, sexist bigots.

All of the Democrat candidates are complete jokes. I thought Biden might at least be moderate, but he's pandering so hard for the far left vote that he's just another far left Democrat goon. Honestly all of the Democrat candidates are basically the same. They are all NPCs you see all over Twitter and Reddit.

This race rioting shit is getting old. I agree with you on the concept of not voting for someone nice, but I obviously have a different view on how he's performed. He's alienated our allies, he's bailing out farmers for his inability to make a deal with the Chinese (socialism), and he has picked the absolute worst people to lead various areas of government.

He's alienated our allies

How? All of our allies are still our allies. Asking them to stop treating Iran with kid gloves and to uphold their end of the deal to spend more on their military isn't "alienating" them. Some of our allies have grown closer to us under Trump, such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, Poland, etc.

he's bailing out farmers for his inability to make a deal with the Chinese (socialism)

Everyone for decades has been bitching that China isn't playing fair, even Democrat candidates TODAY are bitching that China isn't playing fair. Finally after decades of our politicians doing nothing, Trump decides to do something and everyone just shits all over him for it.

and he has picked the absolute worst people to lead various areas of government.

I agree partly. Jeff Sessions was absolutely horrible compared to Barr, and it cost the Republicans a seat in the senate which will hopefully be rectified come 2020.

What has he really accomplished?

So far they've replaced roughly 50 miles of border wall, but no new walls in places where a barrier didn't already exist. Mexico isn't paying for it either.

He campaigned on the ridiculous amount of golf that Obama played then turned around and started golfing far more frequently than Obama.

Infrastructure was a key point of his that hasn't had any movement, it's starting to gain traction now.

His overall fundamental misunderstanding of who pays tariffs, along with our need to bail out farmers again.

Selling of arms to Saudi without congressional approval.

The main thing is national security issues all over the place. For the group that campaigned on lock her up, it's ridiculous that they have no issues using private email and applications for communication with foreign entities. The ridiculous number of people who were given security clearances they simply shouldn't have.

Then start adding in his daily lies and it's just a dumpster fire.

So far they've replaced roughly 50 miles of border wall, but no new walls in places where a barrier didn't already exist. Mexico isn't paying for it either.

Just off the top of my head:

He recently got 5+ billion dollars approved for border wall construction, he's barely 2.5 years into the job, give him a break. I don't think anyone, even Trump's staunchest supporters, thought he was going to complete the wall in less than 2 years.

He managed to get Mexico to beef up security on both their southern border and their northern border to help stop the flow of illegal immigrants, which isn't exactly paying for the wall but hey good enough since our Congress ain't doing shit about it.

He got several countries to agree to a third country safe harbor agreement meaning if an "asylum" seeker crosses through one of those countries first they have to apply for asylum there first instead of skipping those countries to apply in the US.

He managed to get a massive tax plan passed which lowered taxes for most Americans as well as American corporations.

He cut thousands of regulations, spurring business growth.

Unemployment is low, black and Latino unemployment is at historic lows.

The stock market keeps breaking new records.

The US is now the world leader in producing oil.

He got the prison reform bill passed through congress.

He got the ball rolling on moving the Israeli embassy to Jerusalem (it hasn't been moved yet I don't think but that's because there's a whole process to it.)

A lot of shit many past presidents have talked about doing and promised to do but didn't, Trump did it all in less than 2.5 years.

Let's face it, if this had been a Democrat president the media would be writing songs about the man and his approval rating would be 60%+. But since it's a Republican president doing it all the media is doing such a shit job you are sitting here saying "What has he done? Replaced like, what, 50 miles of border wall?"

The media is garbage and doesn't care about the American people, all they care about is putting Democrats in power, and I'm glad after all of these decades they are finally being exposed for their blatant bias instead of giving the false impression that they are unbiased professional journalists.

One of the main things that I saw as potential was running the government like a business, done in a methodical way it could be incredibly efficient in comparison to what we have today. Government contracts are notorious for waste, which is frustrating to me. Obviously some programs are going to be more expensive than others, but there's still ways to reduce costs. The reality has been the opposite where we've cut taxes and increased spending while also implementing trade wars that have added to the costs.

It's much like how I view healthcare right now. The system as a whole is fundamentally broken, and costs as a whole could be reduced if we moved to some form of single payer system with government oversight. There's also significant benefits to small businesses if you're able to reduce the costs to providing healthcare to your employees, along with paying for your own insurance.

With government oversight isn't the same as government run programs.

The major costs with running the healthcare system right now are administration costs. Systems are outdated and unable to speak with each other. Cutting out the middle man cuts out billions in monthly costs to the system.

While I agree that government programs are not always efficient, it's still more efficient than our current system in place. We spend more than double any other on healthcare per person, yet we don't have better health outcomes. Single payer is cheaper as a whole, but would run the risk of a ton of people being out of work .

The other advantage is medical records being in a universal location. This is huge for fraud prevention and upcoding.

There's also multiple different payment options to choose from with the least efficient being the current norm - fee for service.

Same. I inherited a bunch of firearms, none are considered "assault rifles" but I do value that they aren't in any system.

This is why pro 2nd amendment people were against gun registration. They were afraid that at some point it would be used as a confiscation list. Clearly, it will be at some point. It's just a matter of time. She's a huge retard. They all are. Fortunately, none of them stand a chance vs. Trump. In 2024 though? Expect gun rights to take a huge hit if the libtards win.

I think after 2 mass shootings in the past 24 hours Democrats are going to push for legislation now. They can use the current events as leverage to shame anyone that disagrees with them.

Sadly, the legislation will do nothing to fix the root causation of the problem and most likely will only increase the chances of future events. If it in any form involves raids to confiscate weapons it will be a huge fucking mess.

The most they'd do is offer buybacks and amnesty turn ins, and then confiscate as they are found.

The biggest issue is that ammo probably wouldn't be sold anymore.

Nah, mass gun confiscations would never happen with the 2nd Amendment there. They tried to make rifles illegal in a Illinois town, and fine people every day that they didn't turn theirs in. It went to court and got shot down.

You mean outside of our enormous illegal gun trade and lack of upkeep/accountability for the few laws we already have in place? The primary argument against stricter firearm regulations in my opinion is that we have such an enormous illegal trade to begin with and far too much on the street to deal with. EMTs, medical care, and hazardous waste cleanup are not free. You are not free to cost the state tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars to scrape your ass off the pavement. You're not free to raise everyone's insurance premiums with shitty driving to account for the fact that you aren't going to obey the laws. That's not how that works. It is in theory for medical care, but that's the only aspect of that which is the case, and only in theory. Unless you count uninsured or underinsured persons, in which case that burden is largely shouldered by the state and one of the hot topics of the whole socialized healthcare debate.

I'm also talking about lack of accountability for current laws about things like background checks, waiting periods, et cetera. Last gun I bought I purchased it in ten minutes with nothing but a state ID. No background check. No mandatory three day waiting period. From a gun shop.

But yes, the "loopholes" where none of the requirements apply at things like gun shows are also a problem.

I also think he needs to revisit "few" when he refers to gun laws. Between conceal carry, open carry, ordinances, handgun crime vs. knife, armed robbery vs robbery, etc... all by city/state/local jurisdictions, there are a TON of laws on firearms.

That there are. Not all of them are enforced or held accountable. That's a problem, but I don't necessarily have any problem with the ones which are properly applied.

Edit to add: As an aside, I live in a state where concealed carry doesn't even require a permit, so anyone you run into could potentially have a gun on them, and they often do. Including me. It's also got a very low instance of violent crime in general, so guns themselves are far from the only issue. If a gang related killing happens in Los Angeles, it isn't the gun's fault, and even if it was, with the way supply currently stands, it'd be very difficult to regulate anything in a way that changes that.

There are laws for the things you listed. My father owned a pawn shop and dealt in firearms predominantly. Believe me when I say there is significant paperwork, processing and accountability. He underwent audits on a near annual basis if I recall correctly. Gun laws aren't the problem. The problems you listed are really with people breaking the law.

There are also laws for gun shows, which vary greatly by state and local governments. It's easier for sure to buy/sell at gun shows, but most those folks buying/selling are federally licensed gun dealers. Again, not the problem people think it is - when was the last "mass shooting" where they traced the firearm back to a gun show? I can wait while you try and find one.

I know there are laws. That's how I knew to expect a mandated three day waiting period for a handgun when I went in to purchase one last. But those laws are selectively applied. I filled out the paperwork, signed on the line and had a gun in ten minutes.

I wouldn't know any statistics on how many mass shooting guns came from gun shows. I don't believe I mentioned anything about mass shootings.

And the key word for your gun show reference is "most". The ones who don't belong to "most" are the loophole sellers. You know it, I know it. It's not a big secret. "I'm not a dealer. These are my personal collection and I'm just selling them secondhand", et cetera.

Again, stricter gun control laws, if they were to be applied, are something that would only help if several other things were changed first and then given a whole heap of time to take effect, and I don't necessarily believe they address the root of any issue.

What I do believe is that federal standards should be adopted and applied as a baseline, consistently, and accountably, across all the states in a way that's more or less consistent with the majority of state laws. There's such a disaparity between states that could care less and states that care too much that whatever law you do see fit to put on the books does absolutely no good at all. And that's a problem. The laws that we do have should be able to be enforced, consistently, across the board.

Outside your anecdotal example, what makes you think federal laws aren't being enforced?

Stumplicker

Outside your anecdotal example, what makes you think federal laws aren't being enforced?

The fact that every argument for or against stricter gun control has to consider "except for in cases of loopholes".

It's the sovereign citizen movement as applied to guns. Gun laws apply except in cases when you say the magic combination of words that make them not apply. I don't have a problem with most of our current gun control laws. I have a problem with the fact that they're nearly impossible to enforce because they vary so wildly from state to state and town to town, and the fact that there are so very many loopholes that make them not apply.

I can own a full auto weapon too, so long as it was manufactured before 1986. Or any gun in existence so long as it was made before I believe 1898.

And yes, in the right circumstances, those are loopholes. I'm not suggesting somebody is going to come rolling into a nightclub with a civil war gatling gun and open fire, and if they did it would be pretty damn stupid, but years of inconsistent gun regulations have provided a number of loopholes to circumvent laws on the books.

It should be harder to circumvent the laws that exist from state to state. It's really not that hard to do at present, and I'm not sure why you think that's such an awful standpoint to take.

Oh also to show how wonderful she is that her "dream job" was to teach special ed kids.

Unfortunately for her records and her own words show what a lying sack of shit she is.

Not only that but county records show that the board voted UNANIMOUSLY to renew her contract, so there wasn't even one misogynist man who wanted to maintain his grip on the patriarchy who voted against her.

But wait, there's more!

The records also show that Warren tendered her resignation a few months later!

All I know is I was 22 years old, I was 6 months pregnant, and the job that I had been promised for the next year was going to someone else. The principal said they were going to hire someone else for my job,” Warren told CBS.

“When someone calls you in and says the job that you’ve been hired for for the next year is no longer yours, ‘We’re giving it to someone else,’ I think that’s being shown the door,” Warren added.

Warren has repeatedly said on the campaign trail that she was let go from her teaching job because she was “visibly pregnant.”

However, Warren recounted the same story in 2007 but said she did not have the proper credentials to continue teaching at the time.

“I did that for a year, and then that summer I didn’t have the education courses, so I was on an ’emergency certificate,’ it was called. I went back to graduate school and took a couple of courses in education and said, ‘I don’t think this is going to work out for me,’” she said in a 2007 interview at the University of California, Berkeley.

Documents also show that Warren resigned from her job. The Riverdale Board of Education in New Jersey extended Warren’s teaching contract for another year in April 1971, according to meeting minutes the Washington Free Beacon obtained. The board accepted Warren’s resignation “with regret,” June 1971 records indicate.

“After becoming a public figure I opened up more about different pieces in my life and this was one of them. I wrote about it in my book when I became a U.S. Senator,” the Warren campaign told CBS in a statement, in attempts to explain why her stories differ.

Who would have thought someone who lied about being a Native American for decades to further her career would lie about being discriminated against to further her career? At least she didn’t claim she was shown the door for being “visibly red skinned.”

Just wait until the primaries are over and she shows up all lobster sunburnt and claims that that's her natural Native-American skin color and that it's always been like that.

Back will believe her.

If she shows up drunk with a beer in her hand to really push that narrative then I will actually vote for her.

"Free firewater for all who vote for me!"

Elizabeth Warren has now called for "weapons of war" and certain ammo to be confiscated from law abiding citizens.

I know we have a few left leaning gun nuts on the forum, how are you okay with this?

She didn't clarify from the video I saw, she just mentioned something about certain ammo.

So expect to see some ammo prices get nuts in 2020. I should really suck it up and buy some bullet molds. Then learn how to make those bullets.

I'm sure making bullets will be outlawed soon.

A few months ago Democrats and even some Democrat candidates said we were headed for a recession because the DOW was going down a bit, and of course they blamed Trump and said his bad policies were to blame.

The S&P just hit an all time high. I guess we are back to this being Obama's economy again?

That'd be funny, since Hollow Points aren't used in war at all and are probably safer for police, seeing as they won't penetrate body armor. They are deadlier for people without it though.
