View Full Version : Is Oprah the Democrats' Answer to Trump?

Could Oprah beat Trump?

Should Trump start tweeting about Oprah now, or should he wait to see if she actually runs?

~Rocktar~

He should wait. He won't, but he should. Also, she has some seriously bad things in her closet to rake over the coals if she does run. Also, would the secret service be expected to protect her island and how much would THAT cost for her constant living down there and so on?

Thanks to Trump the bar has been lowered so much I don't think any of Oprah's skeletons would matter. As for her island is that really a problem? Trump is down at Mar-a-Lago just about every weekend. Golf expenditures in his first year were close to 100 million. I'm sure this really bothers you .

I don't have a problem with her running... I think shit like this is funny though:

At least NBC is out of the liberal closet though. Worst kept "secret" ever though...

Which would only help her in 2020.

As long as we can force fuck some women in there to end sexism I don't care who it is. It's really disappointing that we ended racism in 2008 yet sexism just continues to run rampant.

Wasn't making a point, just making a comment. A fairly tired and unoriginal comment at that. I'm not sure why you got so bunched up about it but it probably has to do with how little you care.

All buddy buddy with Harvey the rapist with loads of photos to prove it. Women saying that he used her to lure and cover for picking up victims. Her whole shitty new age-ish backing of "The Secret." The whole lawsuit from the beef industry and her continued BS about that. Endorsing shitty/fad/new age-ish health advice. The list goes on. All things that will turn off a lot of voters especially when she gets nailed down on policy issues and her not so thinly veiled racist, sexist and Marxist bent comes out.

I would vote for either woman, though in this scenario I would have to vote for Nikki because of her UN experience.

We'll see how the Republicans do this fall. My bet is Trump will go unchallenged for a 2nd term. If (big if) Oprah is the Democrat nominee, I think the debates between Trump and Oprah would be much more civil than most people would expect.

As of right now I don't think so, honestly Trump has done a pretty good job so far of delivering on promises and it's only been a year. It will be much more clear after the midterms.

This whole "hate for Trump" is not nearly as wide spread as pk and folks like him think, in fact it's mostly isolated to metropolitan areas. I'm not seeing any loss of supporters, mostly anything Trump does wrong is laughed about. He still has a solid lock on the blue collar democrats he cashed in on. The whole "Sessions must go" after his weed snafu last week is a pretty good sign that they won't do anything to lose that blue collar democrat.

I'm afraid Republicans as of right now have no choice but to stick with him, thus far.

Serious question: What promises were delivered? Seriously, no wall, a take-from-the-middleclass-give-to-the-rich tax bill, no Obamacare repeal, climate pull out backfired and zero change on foreign trade issues other than China fucking us over on TPP.

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/year-one-list-81-major-trump-achievements-11-obama-legacy-items-repealed/article/2644159

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/454028/donald-trumps-accomplishments-thanksgiving

By the way, the tax reform takes less from pretty much everyone up to around 300K or so. Stop being retarded, even CNN has walked back their lies on the tax reform. Climate pullout did not backfire, the US is not on the hook for 100 trillion dollars of welfare to the rest of the world as long as they say they are going to "try" to improve their emissions. Just to point out a few wins. OH and illegal border crossing is down something like 50% just on the threat of enforcing the law.

CONNIE RICE FOR PRESIDENT

it will never happen, she has had enough of that cesspool that is D.C. but I would vote for her in a second, AND she is smarter than Obama thinks he is.

But that would throw a major wrench in the Dems plans and take away the racist, misogynist, whatever else -ist you can think of too.

What's it like to live in constant fear of Spooky Scary Socialists?

Being worried about the spread of an ideology that killed from 100-120 million people in the last century seems pretty rational to a lot of people. The fact that you and millions of idiots in the western world are not is somewhat more frightening. What is especially scary is that you are this dumb and get to vote.

True, but Oprah isn't white or surrounded by any government corruption related controversy like Hillary was. That and people in general have been tired of the Clintons.

I don't think Oprah will run, but if she does you can bet your nutsweat that the race and sex card will be played nonstop. Maybe not directly by her, but by all of her time4funs for sure. Obama didn't have to play the race card himself much either, because his supporters/the media did it for him constantly.

Um, Obamacare is effectively dead with the Tax bill that just passed. It got rid of the individual mandate.Obamacare is dead for the middle class. The federal government is still on the hook to subsidize low income plans, so insurers can jack up those prices as high as they want without participants seeing one cent in price increase.
