You have already heard about a passenger being removed from an over-booked United flight. The passenger says that he was removed because he is Chinese.


Video of a passenger being dragged off a Chicago-Louisville flight, bloodying his nose and leaving him dazed in the process, has gone viral online in China, attracting tens of thousands of outraged posts.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was overheard saying he was being profiled for being Chinese, a passenger told CNN, before police officers forcibly removed him from his seat on the overbooked flight.

Why shouldn't Americans get first choice of seats on a flight that had both its departure and destination in the United States?

Paying customers should not be treated like crap because the Airline fucked up. He paid his fare and entered into a contract for service. If United wants out of the contract, then pay up. They apparently did offer some incentives, obviously not enough to get enough people off the plane. This was a dick move and unfortunately since there ins't all that much competition in the Airline industry, likely will not result in enough market pressure to make them stop overbooking flights.
