To find out if there's a substantial overlap, gotta check each IP address individually... fuck that. It's much easier to work off the lower posts' troll accounts with less posts to find out the overlap, or to pull a couple IP addresses from a couple subsequent posts.

While IP addresses assigned from an ISP are relatively consistent, cell providers appear to have shittier control/consistency in their IP issuance. So while I can see some overlap between IP addresses being used by account A and account B, if they're cell phone ones, it could just mean you're all on the same network.

Also anyone that's ever attended a Simucon has one IP that's tied to like, 80 different poster's accounts.

For those of you who think Trump should be impeached, what crime do you believe he committed? The Constitution provides that a President may be impeached for "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." Even if all of the allegations are true, I'm having trouble seeing how it is a crime, let alone a high crime.

The Constitution is really poorly worded on this point. Does it mean "high crimes" and "high misdemeanors," or does it mean "high crimes" and any "Misdemeanors," regardless of whether the misdemeanor is serious or minor? Aren't all misdemeanors minor crimes by definition? Surely the Founders didn't mean "high minor crimes." What about medium crimes? There doesn't seem to be any possibility of impeachment for a crime that is not high and also not a misdemeanor.

George Mason and James Madison bickered on this point. Mason wanted impeachment up to and including incompetence which would extend it's meaning beyond criminality but Madison made the point that the President will then be beholden to Congress above and beyond what the checks and balances would allow. Ultimately, they compromised on "high crimes and misdemeanors" which is what they got Clinton on.

I'll chime in...
I can see every IP address that's logged to every post. I can also see who has clicked on a thread.

The problem is that you all have a shit ton of IP addresses you've ever used. Parkbandit, for example, has 1163 unique IP addresses logged. To find out if there's a substantial overlap, gotta check each IP address individually... fuck that. It's much easier to work off the lower posts' troll accounts with less posts to find out the overlap, or to pull a couple IP addresses from a couple subsequent posts.

While IP addresses assigned from an ISP are relatively consistent, cell providers appear to have shittier control/consistency in their IP issuance. So while I can see some overlap between IP addresses being used by account A and account B, if they're cell phone ones, it could just mean you're all on the same network.

Also anyone that's ever attended a Simucon has one IP that's tied to like, 80 different poster's accounts.
