Are you saying you don't mind an internet provider selling all your information including your address, browsing and purchase history, cable history, and anything else of your they may have like your social security number? Because you seem to be defending the practice at this point.
Cable companies sell your social security numbers?
Do you think you might be just a tad paranoid?
And by tad, I mean like full blown.

But I have to point out... you can thank your republican overlords for allowing this to happen.
I'm not sure you're understanding the points I have been making about this.

1. Ninjas are mammals.
2. Ninjas fight ALL the time.
3. The purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people.

Testimonial:
Ninjas can kill anyone they want! Ninjas cut off heads ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that there was this ninja who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the ninja killed the whole town. My friend Mark said that he saw a ninja totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window.
And that's what I call REAL Ultimate Power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you don't believe that ninjas have REAL Ultimate Power you better get a life right now or they will chop your head off!!! It's an easy choice, if you ask me.
Ninjas are sooooooooooo sweet that I want to crap my pants. I can't believe it sometimes, but I feel it inside my heart. These guys are totally awesome and that's a fact. Ninjas are fast, smooth, cool, strong, powerful, and sweet. I can't wait to start yoga next year. I love ninjas with all of my body (including my pee pee).
Q and A:.
Q: Why is everyone so obsessed about ninjas?
A: Ninjas are the ultimate paradox. On the one hand they don't give a crap, but on the other hand, ninjas are very careful and precise.
Q: I heard that ninjas are always cruel or mean. What's their problem?
A: Whoever told you that is a total liar. Just like other mammals, ninjas can be mean OR totally awesome.
Q: What do ninjas do when they're not cutting off heads or flipping out?
A: Most of their free time is spent flying, but sometime they stab. (Ask Mark if you don't believe me.)

Waiting for the individual market to crash is a risky proposition for the GOP. Remember- they were the last ones with the ball. And they blew it. People want the ACA fixed, not repealed. If it crashes while the GOP is in power, it may turn into a Democratic windfall as people vote for people they believe will make things better without kicking them off of their insurance.
Sadly, this is true. When ACA was first pushed, I said it was merely the first step toward single payer. I'm so dismayed that the GOP couldn't put anything through, I'm apt to support single payer at this point. This was an epic fail that is more likely to whipsaw the mid-term elections than hurt the Dems. The Dems best bet is to just step back at this point.

So basically the mandate hurts those the most that the liberals pretend to care about, of course anyone with common sense knew this already.

And oddly enough, we went through an exercise that determined that a large number of our employees would be better off if we did not offer insurance and they obtained it themselves on the exchange with subsidies. I don't necessarily argue that employers should be the source of health insurance, but it's an odd side effect.

Of course they would be and for multiple reasons. The whole nature of the ACA is bad for small business, the lower middle class and economic growth. Insurance costs will always be higher for a private business when they are competing against a government that continues to be held unaccountable for billions in waste. It only makes sense for a business, especially a small business, to hire only part-time labor. Part-time work almost always comes with lower wages and fewer benefits, thus creating more dependents on government assistance. And wouldn't you guess it, the vast majority of the jobs created over the past few years are part-time service industry jobs and dependence on government assistance has increased dramatically.
For a worker the choice is easy, go flip burgers for 20 hours a week, get free insurance, food assistance, cash assistance, rental assistance or find the 40 hour a week job that pays just enough that you lose access to the government programs, pay for insurance that has a $6500 deductible, pay all your bills and put food on the table.
This isn't hard to figure out.

The real problem with single payer government run healthcare is that we don't have enough doctors and increasing costs. There look like plenty of doctors in big cities and there are more (still not enough in many cases) but anywhere that isn't a major metro area is short on general practitioners and has almost a complete lack of specialists. I am not talking brain surgeons or reconstructive plastic surgeons, I am talking people like gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, rheumatologists, and pain management specialists. These are the kinds of specialists pretty much everyone will need to see sooner or later. This is the end result of 40 years of liberal education focusing on feelings and handing out participation trophies. Most medical schools have openings available.
Next is the problem of how you pay health care professionals. Medicare may pay a Dr. $80 for an office visit where private insurance that the Dr. contracted with to be in network with will pay $135 for the same visit. The same Dr. may be able to charge $250 for the same visit for an out of network patient and negotiate a settlement price of $180 with the patient (yes you can negotiate most of these things when they are out of network and aren’t booked solid).** Lots of Drs decide not to accept or participate in Medicare and many are now deciding not to contract with insurance companies because they can get more on the open market. After all, it sounds like a lot of money for a short visit, keep in mind, the cost of college, 6-10 years of forfeit income while going to school (beyond 4 yr degree), office, staff, insurance and so on all add up frighteningly fast.
The end result is like you see in Europe, Canada and other places, a lack of medical care and substantial wait period for non-critical care anywhere but in the largest cities. This doesn’t even address the increases in costs (inflation and supply and demand) or the absolutely brain dead consequences of mental health care bullshit, drug addiction bullshit and the retarded cancer treatment process we have in the US.
** note, I work for an insurance company, these figures are made up for the example

It will only get worse if we continue in this direction. You spend 10 years paying for an education to become an anesthesiologist now all of a sudden every Tom, Dick and Nancy has a protected right to your services and the government (who can't balance a checkbook) dictates every aspect of your career. Proving yet AGAIN how socialism leads to either shortage or rationing, of course now we are talking about human lives being rationed.
