House Speaker Paul Ryan released a video Friday promoting his unity strategy for the House GOP. But the clip, which shows Ryan giving a speech to a rapt audience, plays like a campaign ad.

It would be political suicide for Ryan to make any attempt at hijacking the election process. After New York and a state or two more I think you will see the GOP start to change their tune about Trump if they wish to salvage the party itself, if it's even salvageable. Anything short of marching Ron Paul on stage as a replacement candidate, if there is a contested convention, will end the Republican party. The battle between the Libertarians and the Evangelicals for the reigns of the party have put it in an awkward position, both camps are insufferably stubborn.
Ryans best bet would be to stay out of the spotlight while all this stupid ugly shit is happening, let the chips fall as they may and do his best to get some notable legislation passed before the 2020 or 2024 election. I think I like the guy and would hate to see him have to wear the shit stain if he were to agree to go along with any attempt.

It doesn't matter who the Republicans nominate; we are ready for another historic election when we elect President Hillary Clinton as the first woman President AND the first First Lady to be elected President.
A vote for anyone else is a vote against women and there is a special place in Hell for anyone who votes against women.

Well then get my spot warmed up :).
Don't get me wrong - I don't want Trump as President, but if she is the alternative then so be it.
