Yup. Consecrate first. Reversing the order makes consecrate do nothing.

Works the same as bless, just cast it at them.

For my warrior I generally just cast consecrate from a scroll before asking for a bless.

Failing all that you can just join Voln and have infinite blesses especially since everything in there is undead.

I doubt I'd ever switch him to Voln - I normally hate hunting undead and the constant need to renew favor by hunting undead kinda locks you into that.

That said - I managed to finish Reim this morning with like 30 minutes to spare. Think I went through my original bless plus 2-3 pure potions. Only annoying bit was when my bless ran out mid-berserk and I had to wait to stop it so I could re-bless. Had 2-3 pit traps. I didn't search all the boxes, though, as I was a bit wary due to reports of major wounds from them - the ones I did search only gave me creature spawns. I might risk searching more of them next time.

Also my emperer spawned with a claidhmore - 0x, though (but teasingly described with 'vaalorn-edged')

I can see why Undead bane and permabless is so popular. I'd want it just to not have to bother with all the pure potions, etc.
