I reset the stats for unique names and whatnot to 0 because I added in profession tracking and wanted a fresh start since this is all still new. I don't track professions on a daily basis yet, just total unique profession names and how often they have been seen and all that stuff.
I don't do race tracking yet but I might add it at some point, if I do I won't reset the current data.

Looking over this, I'm uncertain if the unique names count tells us anything. I logged in 4 different characters on 9/12, for example, to find a certain alchemy component. (normally, I log in only my main)
I do think an additional stat that would be useful to report in the all time stats is how many total lookups/checks you've done. Based on people here that play a limited amount (like myself - maybe an hour a night, at best), we could calibrate an idea of where the active account base is at. (my guess is the 5%+ of checks, but not sure)
I can include the total number of checks in the all stats. I figure if I do an average of 40 checks a day 5% would be someone being logged in an average of 2 checks a day. This should give us a relatively good idea of active characters as opposed to characters that log in rarely (locker mules, throw away accounts, etc) or someone who no longer plays. Granted it's not going to be an exact science, especially since my character isn't logged in 24/7, but I'm open to suggestions.
