Girl Scouts is a giant cookie scam. They give very little back to the Troop that sells them and that Troops ends up not doing shit, like camping and such. Boy Scouts, on the other hand, always go camping. Plus, there were 3 other programs in the BSA that already allowed girls.
Regardless, male and female Troops will be separate. I don't see any problem with any of this.

I think including girls in a general scouting program would prevent the older boy/eagle scouts from turning out so goddamn goofy.
I did it for like a year or two and all we did was make macrame. It was so stupid, I begged my mom to let me quit it.
You had better pay your guild dues before you forget. You are 113 months behind.
I think the original intent of the boy/cub scouts was to help boys become responsible men. I think most the kids I went to school with that continued on to the higher level scouts are more successful in their adult lives, but the goofy part is a pretty good description. Oddly enough in cub scouts we had den mothers because everyones dad was still at work when we got out of school.

GJ Fox, you finally found your balls.
Fox News has banned a retired general from appearing on the network following his controversial comments about Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.
A spokesperson told the Washington Examiner that retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney is no longer welcome on Fox News and Fox Business Network after he said torture worked on McCain, a former prisoner of war in Vietnam.
This is wildly uninformed.
There are probably shitty councils out there who don't run programs like they're supposed to be doing, but GSUSA runs a pretty tight ship so they wouldn't get by with it for long.
This is a flailing attempt by BSA to boost membership numbers due to the Mormons leaving their organization.
