Do you have a citation for that? I know there was something in the works, but I was under the impression that the new Bill basically quashed that.

I haven't read the final text of the bill after the last set of changes though, and I know there were always a few loopholes in it

Also was this an official protest? As in they went about it via official channels by getting a permit, the city knew about it, shut down traffic for them to do their protest?

Or did they just decide they owned the street, started marching in the middle of a fucking road, then acted surprised when a car ran them over?

Going by the faux outrage to my comment I'll take that to mean it wasn't an official protest and it was in fact a bunch of idiots who decided to shut down a public road instead of sticking to areas designed for pedestrian traffic, like say a sidewalk.

This sounds an aw-ful lot like Monopoly rules; that is, that a jailéd can still collect rent. Has President Trump or his sad-faced sycophant Terrence Gunderson Olivier ever denied establishing a mono-poly on the Board Walk? I am just asking the question.
