You see Zuie De'Voyd the Apothecary.
She appears to be a Vaalor Elf.
She is tall and appears to be youthful. She has sparkling, contrasting moon gray and sky blue eyes and milky white skin. She has very long, silky raven-hued hair pulled back over one ear with a matte vaalin gardenia barrette. She has a delicate face and a stylized flame beauty mark encircling her left eye.
She has a small silver hoop shaped as strangler fig vines in her right nostril.
    She is in good shape.
She is wearing a tendril of dark green ivy strung upon a thin silver chain, an emerald silk dolman with layered floor-length sleeves, a saffron silk bodice side-cinched by birch buckles, a vine-embellished leather satchel clasped by a moss agate slung over her shoulder, a braided silver charm bracelet, a silver promise ring, a pair of tight black leather pants, and some silk-lined satin boots.

<3 Vines. Thanks to Nilandia for the piercing. And of course SHARI <3 for the barrete. It's soo pretty.

    OMG.

Yeah that! Haha. I got the names confused.

    You see Meureii the Squire.
He appears to be a Half-Krolvin of the Rafi'kaes Klinast.
He is average height and appears to be young. He has haggard stormy green eyes and sallow skin. He has raggedly cut, silvery-hued hair that is tied back with a simple black cloth, creating a solitary bundle of hair that falls down to mid back. He has a bony face, a long nose and a long scar across his left eyebrow. He has bluish grey undertones shadowing his angular countenance.
He has a regal gryphon with graceful outstretched wings and sharp looking claws tattooed on his neck.
    He is in good shape.
He is wearing a silver gryphon talisman, an eahnor-inset silver fist symbol, a battle ravaged wool warcloak, a large blood-red passionflower, a polished Helden Hall pin, a timeworn traveller's backpack, some battleworn argent platemail padded with sanguine dyed miniver, a pair of sable falding breeches, and some scaled leather combat boots.
    >
    A wizened gnome hobbles northeast.
    >look talis
The image of a gryphon takes up the whole of the piece. The wings of the mighty bird are outstretched wide and the head is cast upward in a gallant pose. Caught in the talons of the avian creature are a series of rubies and a small, silver sword.
    >look symb
    You see nothing unusual.
    >look warcl
Worsted wool falls to the shin in a smooth curtain, draping from a pin of crossed claidhmores, which gathers the cloak at the right shoulder. Each miniature weapon bears a dragon's-tear diamond in its pommel, and is crafted of blue-tinged mithril. The gleaming metal stands out against the stony grey wool of the cloak, and the fabric itself bears no adornment aside from a smattering of tiny tears, frays and scorch marks that bespeak the battles it has seen.
    >look passion
    You see nothing unusual.
    >look pin
You see a polished but battle-worn claidhmore with a coiled serpent wound around the blade. The words: "Strength, Honor, and Loyalty" are etched along the blade.

    >look back
    >
Composed of cracked, faded leather, the pack shows the true sign of its age. A silver buckle with a solitary ruby is the only color and sign of life this item has to offer. Practical in every way, the pack features a braided strap of leather running from the top to the bottom, allowing the owner to wear it over their shoulder. On the front, and barely visible through the cracks, is a stylized M.
    >look plate
    >
Scribed onto the plate is an identifying marking: a hammer and gryphon outlined in silver.
    You see nothing else unusual.
    >look breech
Fastened in the front with a light golden corse of silk, this coarse wool could keep the wearer warm on the coldest of nights. Sable in color, they are unadorned and overworn.
    >look my boots
These boots have clearly seen quite a bit of terrain. The soles are peeling around the edges, several grommets are missing, and the laces are frayed. While they are certainly nothing to look at, they appear well broken-in and even reasonably comfortable. The heel of the right boot is emblazoned with the words "Walk With Kai," in the common language.

Hello, fashionistas. I'm new to GSIV and happened to stumble across this forum in search of sylvan fashion standards (of which official documentation seems sparse, unless I haven't found it yet). Anyway, my sylvan was scraped for an elf as my role-play and clothing choices were evolving in that direction. Here is a look-see at what I have now:

    You see Reinarde.
He appears to be a Nalfein Elf.
He is tall and appears to be very young. He has thick-lashed pale blue eyes and milky white skin. He has short, silky platinum hair swept back from the temples. He has a delicate face, a thin nose and high cheekbones.
    He is in good shape.
He is wearing a white jacquard cravat patterned with pearly arabesques, an ashen jacquard longcoat embroidered with black florets, an ivory white satin vest, some silver rose cufflinks, a moonstone-buttoned charcoal watered silk shirt, a pair of tone-on-tone white and ivory bourde trousers, and some silver-toed dark grey leather boots.

I did the best I could with limited funds. This was under 300k and, unfortunately, without any alterations to share. I'm a bit wary of those trousers and cravat, though. Would it seem their busy-ness competes with the longcoat (of which I refuse to part with)? I've been searching for other items to simplify the look, although I haven't purchased them yet... any opinions/suggestions either way? Here it is:

PS. From what I've seen so far in this forum, you all have wonderful taste. This aspect of the game is fun!

Akshully, this aspect of the game is THE BEST. You're doing incredibly well, which makes me suspect previous experience in writing or other text-based RPGs. Well done, and excellent choice of culture. Nalfein, of course, are godly.

Thank you for the compliments! I have played (and staffed on) Unwritten Legends for a while, but got sick of the politics and half-assed design, so decided to give their parent game a try.

I only wish there was more lore on the sexy Nalfein. I'm a lore whore. Or, better yet, I only wish for Ta'Nalfein. I'd likely explode with delight.

Speaking as a player of a Nalfein, I hope we don't get Ta'Nalfein, if it means the same thing would happen that happened to Ta'Vaalor and Ta'Illistim.

I do, however, quite like your outfit. You're doing splendidly on the look, though I do have to admit I'm rather amused that you left UL because of politics, yet you play an Elf from a House known for its politics.

There was a cruise in the game a couple of years ago that docked briefly at Ta'Nalfein. Unfortunately, players were not allowed to disembark at that stop but we could at least see the city from the boat. It was quite cool.

As for lore... there's a goodly bit of player-written lore on the Nalfein. Less so on the official stuff. I don't play anymore, which is why I took down nalfein.com, so I don't know exactly where to look.

I have a lot of saved information about the Nalfein, since Issi is one.

Dice games, fan language information, etc.

I tend to agree that I hope Ta'Nalfein is not opened up to players. I wouldn't mind if there was ever an occasion where it would be temporarily opened (i.e. during the WD if we could have went somewhere there) but I wouldn't want it to become a permanent fixture.
