I am told these sigils are NOT limited to just the hated enemies. Not sure on that. It should be fairly easy to confirm. Someone go swing at a rolton or something with an AS booster up.

You swing a closed fist at Tsin!
    AS: +48 vs DS: +332 with AvD: -23 + d100 roll: +99 = -208
    A clean miss.
    Roundtime: 3 sec.
    Roundtime changed to 1 second.
    >sigi of offen
A faint blue glow surrounds your hands, subtly guiding your movements.

You swing a closed fist at Tsin!
    AS: +68 vs DS: +332 with AvD: -23 + d100 roll: +1 = -286
    A clean miss.

Brian Fantana: No, she gets a special cologne... It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.
    Ron Burgundy: It's quite pungent.
    Brian Fantana: Oh yeah.
Ron Burgundy: It's a formidable scent... It stings the nostrils. In a good way.
    Brian Fantana: Yep.
Ron Burgundy: Brian, I'm gonna be honest with you, that smells like pure gasoline.

Looking at the finished set of skills, as a Paladin, makes me feel that from a pure mechanical standpoint the Council of Light is still a better decision. That said, only symbol of Escape is cost prohibitive.

Of course, from a personal standpoint I like the ideas of warcamps and how they cause people to bond together. Kind of like instances of wow where you have to form groups. This will be a great way of meeting people around your level and help you form hunting groups afterwords.

I'll be sticking with it, not that I have much of a choice.. though I heard rumors of a society reset potion at the Adventures guild..

    You were never capped.

Sigil of escape and the healing sigil are great, but the mana one is bleh. As your level increases, its use decreases as a pure because:

    1. You stopped training in Physical Fitness.
    2. 25 is a drop in the bucket at that point.
    3. (Wizards only) It might help a bit with bolts, but you totally have mana leech.

All in all, I may consider joining this society due to the fact that you can constantly seek out and wtfpwn warcamps for xp win. I'll have a gimp of mine master it first and see if I want to move my main crew over.

But I am irked at the fact that you only get +20AS/DS. That's lame. But you do get more TD for a comparably lesser cost.

+6 damage is better than +15 AS in most cases (+6 for Voln).
Razzle them. Dazzle them. Razzle dazzle them.

Yeah the 20 TD is really nice for squares

I think I might switch just because I never use Wracking and Dissipation is the only one I use routinely.

+5 more TD is always a good thing.

What's the god damn timer on these fucking things?

The other thing that hits me is that this society is great for weapons using capped characters. In places like OTF, you do not want to use prized weapons for fear of being disarmed.

Now, you have a disposable heavily crit weighted weapon (assuming the rumor that these powers work against all creatures is true).

I don't know that everyone has grasped the mentality yet because Wracking is mostly used when you're just about out of mana. This sigil could be used every time you had 50 stamina available and were down at least 25 mana. A pure may find it shocking how often 50 stamina is available to be blown.
After the spiritual lore review, this Sigil's potential really goes up for Empaths, at least.

    Pro-active use.
    3x PT
Adrenal Surge with 65 ranks of Blessings to return ALL stamina with a cast (5 minute cooldown).
High CON race such as a Giant or Dwarf or HK for a higher base stamina.

If you look at it a different way, it's basically a lesser mana potion, but with a shorter "cooldown."

Too bad the Adrenal Surge spell knowledge enhancive item is gone from the game.
