Well, stone skin is a form of damage padding, and it stacks with padding. I can understand weighting not stacking. But the big question is, will it work with items with flares, etc as well.

It occurs to me that you may be ignoring the primary factor of that sigil being useful against ONLY "foes of the sunfist".

Has anyone started putting together a list of just who all the foes are? Troll and Orcs are a given, but Illoke surprised me. Anyone checked Tritons?

Stoneskin works before padding though. Sigil might work like stoneskin, and if so they might work together. But I read it as the sigils basically putting it on your armor, or a secondary skin somehow, and I'd be really surprised if they stacked.

Flares and weighting working together would be odd. I don't see why GMs would make a society that can do what they have never allowed before in the hard mechanics.

But maybe so.. would be fun.

All ogres
All Yetis
All Krag
All Illoke

Can anyone test to see if these sigils work against Ithzir? We should try to compile a list of creatures which sunfist signs do and do not work upon.

I've got a spreadsheet made. If you all list the exact creature's descriptions, I will toss all of them in and post the spreadsheet/txt file

Hrm, it may actually stack but not in the heavy+heavy = masterful or anything like that. The sigils are character based and not based on the weapon, when I switch weapons I still get weighting.

It may work just like another roll on the crit meter. The highest of the two gets applied? Anyone else do any experimentation?
