Well, i've been reading the boards, and i notice you're all a highly opinionated bunch of folks. So, i'd figure i'd get people's assessments of the sorcerer i recently rolled up. I spent the better part of ten years playing as warrior types, so it's really only my 4th magic using character that i've ever used....

Quit spamming plz thx.
(I advise against overtraining skills/spells beyond the typical level+1 or 2 for double or triple training, unless you really need another point of CS. It becomes easy to lose tracks of things).

If you're going sword and board, bump edged and shield to full 1x. Drop MIU and SMC to 8. Bump EMC to 8. Bump SA to 2x. There's no reason to have 6 ranks of climbing at level 7, so dump some of those ranks.

Drop spirit spells to 103, focus on elemental to 414, switch to spirit to 107, switch back to elemental to 430, switch to spirit to 120. Always keep sorcerer spells at least 1x, if not more.

Lores and shit are up to you.

You can probably stall out on the armor training till like 20 as well. Climbing and perception are probably unneeded at 7.

How are you hunting right now? Are you actually swinging a weapon? (with ZERO bonus from strength..)

Or are you casting already at lvl seven.. (with less than maxed CS stats)

I assume you are still on your free month.. first week or two. I would redo the stats myself.. If you like the stats the way they are, you might want to make sure and figure out which path your taking right now, and which one later on.

I am of the opinion that you have a month to seriously take advantage of the free fixskills they give new players. At the end of that month, right before its up, you can retrain into what you will be doing for the rest of your characters time in the game. Or until you get another of the free yearly fixskills.

Mine normally have a higher strength, and train for weapons, along with CM, until they are old enough to hunt with spells. Normally I dont try that until lvl 10 or so. And I always try to start off CS spell hunting against animals(no spells for extra TD)

If your going to hunt with spells primarily, now or later, you would benefit from overtaining in your primary sphere(sorcerer). I would drop the sword/board, and go runestaff. I would go 2.5x in spells, at lvl 7, id be going for 103, 401-406, and 10-18 ranks of sorcerer. Depending on whether you really need the DS yet, I would sack the extra 5 elemental, and go for the 18 sorcerer ranks. I doubt at level seven you need the extra DS from 406 yet.
