I know that on paper our government is trying to justify it. Personally I don't think blowing up drug mules in a boat is going to solve the problem of consumption and overdose anywhere in the world. You're never going to stop people from doing drugs so in my opinion it would make more sense to legalize and regulate as well as provide health care services to drug addicts. Portugal has seen some success with this. Oregon has seen some failures to be honest. But at the end of the day I don't think killing drug smugglers is going to solve anything.

Certainly killing anybody without a trial is not right.

The Trump Administration lost the benefit of the doubt when they illegally detained and sent to terrorist prison in El Salvador 200 Venezuelans and claimed that they were all gang members and terrorists. We now know with certainty that, in addition to acting illegally, the Trump Administration was, at best, grossly incompetent when making that determination. Why would you believe them this time?

If the Trump Administration is going to execute citizens of other countries for activities that would not carry the death sentence if committed in this country, then they at least should be required to show their proof.
