Thread: Lich folder empty?

  1. Default Lich folder empty?

Hi all, recently I tried to install Lich and it created folders 3.4., Luch5, and a couple uninstall files in the first Lich 5 folder. There is nothing in either Lich5 folder except two uninstall files. In the 4.5.5 folder there is a rubyw.exe that seems to do nothing and a ruby.exe which brings up a command line type screen. I[ve tried installing Lich only but that didn't work. Anyone run into this know the solution?

Afraid not. Someone on in the scripting channel on the official Discord server might know more.

    ^ This.

Plus Discord works 100% of the time and the PC is up like 30% of the time.

Hmm I can't seem to even join the Discord channel either. I logged into the website front end and set it up but the link in the Discord verb just takes me to like a home page of Discord's where I choose Open Discord and its just my friends list. I used it for some sales so I have a few contacts on there and was even in the server at one time but I left it. Even searching, it seems like I can only search for people not channels. You'd think Gemtone or Gemstone IV would pull something up but no.

I might try to find an older version of Lich which I know was possible at one point. Can't recall how in the hell I found it, its in GitHub under a username that I didn't know so I don't think I searched the username.

Seems like just deleting and reinstalling did the trick. I was just reinstalling on previous attempts but deleting seems to have worked. Also ran it as administrator but I think I had tried that too. So if anyone else runs into this try deleting the files first. ANd I chose for Lich to be in its own folder not on the Desktop.
