Though I may have just been, by some contractual proxy, forced back to work in the office, ha!
I’m in the private sector and was recently forced back into the office (end of hybrid work schedule beginning in March). I was, in practice, already going into the office 5 days a week. I have little ones at home, lots of distractions, and frequent client meetings. Found out pretty early that I’m more productive in an office environment & it’s better for my mental health. I get both sides of the argument for and against, but the world worked just fine prior to Covid.

Already, he has put in more working hours today than Biden has in the past month.

When asked about the mysterious drones spotted all over the country.

“I would like to find out what it is and tell the people. In fact, I’d like to do that. Can we find out what that was Susie? Ok. Yeah, why don’t we find out. Immediately.” -Trump

I’d say Trump’s first day back in office was pretty damn great.

Yeah, personally I have no real objection to it. I feel we were definitely more productive when being able to collaborate in real-time vs scheduling endless meetings on Teams. Since our client is a government entity we typically are expected to match their requirements, and if now they are forced full-time into office, I can certainly see where our mandate changes to something similar. We definitely got more done in 2019 per man-hour than we have since with a fully remote team.
