Edit: Also, the song makes reference to Italians being “white guys” in 1985. I don’t consider Italians white guys in the shallow cultural sense in America at that time (or Jews or Slavs or even Irish Catholics for example). They’re their own thing that doesn’t fit that general racial label in ‘Murica. That is a very modern phenomenon / change. Come at me bro.
