I'm not Clyder but I was certainly wrong. Its pretty obvious this is what the collective we wants - I was sure it would be the same distance between the two simply flip flipped.
Oh well. Elections have consequences - Dems better learn that simply picking the next one up based on loyalty isn't a winning strategy.

so how do we reconcile this Trump win with voter fraud and stolen elections? like, did the swamp just decide to take a nap this time instead of stealing the election?
You tell me where the inconsistency lies...
2016:
Clinton - 65m
Trump - 62m
2020:
Biden - 81m
Trump - 74m
2024:
Harris - 67m
Trump - 72m
Best guess - and again, I still think they were looking to see how things went... but a few things occurred...
1. States tightened up their voting processes to ensure accurate and secure voting stations
2. There was not a "national crisis" excuse to saturate the polling station with un-vetted ballots
3. There was MUCH more oversight and regulators watching polling stations for any shenanigans
4. Lastly, they threw literally the kitchen sink at him and the guy survived two assassination attempts
Can you imagine everyone goes to bed at 3am and suddenly he loses, after everything they'd put him through - and he was still standing - and still getting the amount of votes he was?
There is only so much bullshit you can force down someones throat.
If you look at the 4-5 cities I mentioned last night at 3am, that had yet to be "counted"...
Trump was leading 3-6% points in each place with less than 10% of the vote left... Kamala still ended up within .5-1% of Trump in those same locations.
That's still a huge leap/discrepancy to make up in that small of a sample size...
My thought? If they did to much of a dump, especially after the media coverage and their bad outlooks (based on every metric) up to that point... well yea... You can only fuck over people so often before they catch on.
I'm just glad the people are waking up to the bullshit that our political machine has turned into. There is some hope still to right the ship.
Now hopefully Trump learned his first time through, and his appointments are much more about getting business actually done... vs. the insiders and political pundits that the professional political class was telling him he needed the first time around.
