I have played a few times like eg and prem fest.
I just don't get the same type of joy from the game I used to. I don't necessarily think it is anything the GMs have done, for me anyways. I don't get as much joy out of a lot of the games I used to play the shit out of anymore.

So I guess, it's not GS, it is me.

This and how they changed Ebon.

I actually didn't really care about the change so much. I paid for EG during the early days, once, and got totally disgusted with how the GMs ran it. Never paid for another festival again until Briarmoon Cove.

As it came to Dreavenings vs Invoker? Also, a non-factor for me, as a wizard main, with a metric shit-ton of scrolls. I for one, was glad that someone took the heat, because I hated going to TSC or the park to ready-up for a hunt and then having a ton of people's eyes light up at the fact that there was a GODDAMN WIZARD in the square and start blasting me with "I can has spells?" It's why i constantly stay invisible, to this day. I play an anti-social wizard, but i'm not necessarily an anti-social person, but goddamn, that shit used to get annoying.

But honestly, over the years, I used to see a lot of good roleplay in the park and the square with people waiting for mass spells, or people just hanging out giving spells.(Or dipshits like PB stealing from people waiting for spells. LOL) It's something that i find quite lacking these days., which is commentary for another thread. I've already slid a bit off topic.

Well, they did force out one of the few GMs that i actually liked, which pretty much derailed most of the fun i had since i came back last year. I was hoping to finish Hapenlok's story this time around and either retire again, or introduce a new(old) character to the landing. Now I have no idea what i'm going to do in roleplay, i'm pretty much essence farming to upgrade my warrior's gear at this point, so i can finally cap him.

I think I quit at the right time. Financially it worked out well. I mostly quit because most the people I played with quit, and when I was a GM I saw how you were either in the clique or not, and I didn't like that at all.

What was your GM name? What did you work on?
