I’ve been good all year. Santa is bringing me an Aglite plate carrier, some bad ass level 3+ plates that only weigh 4 pounds each, and a bunch of other goodies. My wife says it’s a waste. I think of it like a fire extinguisher & that’s a good thing to have before the election year. Also I’m going to pump weights and larp hard in the backyard with it on. Fuck those terminator aliens.

Uhhh... hate to tell you, but those plates won't stop the lasers and sonic weapons the Terminator Aliens will be using... Until they splice our DNA with regenerative lifeforms like the octopus and jellyfish, our future isn't looking to bright... Until then, continue to LARP city center evacuation drills, your stop-drop-n-rolls, bear de-escalation defense posture, and crocheting for the winter months.

Large portions of California are red, if Texas were to secede, there is a decent enough chance that there would be a movement in California to split the state.

Do you mean IIIA? You should go for type III at a minimum, IIIA is just a waste. If you're putting on hard plates in the first place, might as well get IV anyways.

I meant level 3 rifle rated. It’s not a NIJ rating but III+ stops everything level 3 does plus M855 green tip. Reason I went with that one is because at 4.1 pounds per plate (standard 10x12 SAPI cut and it’s multi-curve) that is a good weight to protection ratio. I don’t think I’ll come across 30-06 AP rounds.

I also have some soft iiia armor that is easily concealable. That one does get some real world wear use. I have a couple rental properties in the not so nice part of Dallas.

BTW: The Democrats long term plan has almost come to fruition...
