Trump is running & leading in the Republican primary. He is eligible until & unless the courts decide he is not, which won’t happen.. Minnesota state Supreme Court will hear arguments about this in November. I suspect for this state or another it will ultimately go to US SCOTUS to be decided. The legal argument to remove Trump from the ballot via 14th Amendment is absurd and will be shot down.

I’ll put it this way…if Trump were to be removed from the ballot with the 14th Amendment (which I’m absolutely certain won’t happen but let’s pretend just for a moment), that would signal to many Americans that all legitimacy in our federal government is gone.
