You should do the bring sally up challenge.
You play Flower by Moby. When it says up, you go up, when it says down you go halfway down. You never touch the ground. And do that until the song is done. It is an ass kicker.

214 now. 14 pounds left to go in 1 month. I may slightly miss that mark but I’m going to keep at it until I’m jacked at 200 pounds.
Also, how I feel the next day after a high intensity leg workout:

213 now and less than a month to go to reach my goal of 200. At my current rate of weight loss I may not quite make it but will be close. I’m tired of feeling hungry, sore, and tired all the time.
Fuck leg day.
Dick to the dirt…who comes up with these exercise names??
It’s there when you are ready for it.
My motivation was the scale at my doctor reading 230 (with work clothes and shoes on). That is the highest I’ve ever been. Also my bloodwork coming back with cholesterol issues. I either make some changes with diet and exercise or I accept my fatness & take cholesterol medication. I’ve also got 8 month old twin boys. They need a strong father that is going to live long enough to see them become men. Guess it’s a combination of a lot of things really now that I think about it…
Nice work, congrats on driving yourself to do it.
Fuck leg day indeed. It does give you a mighty feeling of accomplishment when it's done tho. I personally hope to still be squatting into my eighties.
Sounds like some bullshit a boot camp drill sergeant would say.
Eventually, most learn to enjoy the soreness, and being tired enough to fall right asleep when you want to does have it's benefits. It becomes a comfort more than an offense, which certainly helps take the edge off.
Eventually when you're no longer forcing yourself to eat a caloric deficit for goals, you also won't need to be hungry. But yeah, it does suck in the meantime. Try more fibrous fillers, and anytime you're hungry put water in your face. Both will help you to not feel as hungry.

Thanks. Good advice. Yeah I’m looking forward to a calorie maintenance phase once I hit my weight loss goal. I’m still going to continue healthy eating choices, but it will be nice to have larger portions & the occasional cheat meal.
Yesterday I did both yard work in the middle of the day (108 degrees here) and later worked out legs. This time we introduced more weight with squats, lunges, farmers walk, etc. I feel like Lieutenant Dan this morning.
