? I haven't been a kid in a long while... but when I was, myself, and a lot of my friends/acquaintances all worked... because we wanted to. It was nice making your own money, buying your own things, learning trades, and socializing.

Why does everyone make work out to be such a bad thing?

I'm not saying put kids in coal mines, or slave labor at 8 years old like they do in China... but a kid starting out in part time jobs around the age of 14 or so... is in my opinion... a great thing.

Others may disagree... but ever heard the term "paperboy"... yea... that's because it was children delivering papers.

This past 100 years has really diluted the intelligence, and understanding, of people... for 1000's of years... EVERYONE worked to survive... it's only in the past 150-200, and mainly the past 100, that has changed.

It's pretty crazy how ignorant people are of how our current society was made.
