    Yeah but at least Simu implemented a way where you have to verify your Discord name with one of your characters in game, and I'm pretty sure it has to be a paid account. So it's a bit more secure than someone just creating a new email address and creating a PC account. Again not saying it's fool proof, but better than nothing.

    I might add in PC too, more verifications can't hurt.

    True, but yeah, more verification is better, and these forums have been around a lot longer, I would trust people here, than on discord. Accounts switch hands constantly, this place has been the consistent thing in the game.

    I hope you contact your local police department with the information you have. I think people too often feel ashamed, and try to hide the fact that they lost $1,000 in an online game transaction. Don't do that, this dude stole $1,000 and is a criminal. Proceed to deliver him to justice.

    Nada. Neither hide nor hair from the seller. Venmo support refused to take any action, including refusal to flag the account for fraud.
