I'm sure you only disbelieve the amount of price manipulation evident on the stock exchanges trading oil contracts because it doesn't fit your narrative, but the amount of oil the United States produces is a significant percentages of the world supply and every time oil is choked off here by private industry, it has worldwide repercussions.

The good news is oil closed down well over 5% and closed at $79 a barrel today. Gasoline fell almost as much at 4.75% to $2.37 a gallon wholesale. Consumers are rejoicing.

Again you only blame private industry while ignoring Democrat policies that force speculators to increase prices.

Democrats campaigned on eliminating fossil fuels, speculators have no choice but to adapt to that, Democrat policies are dependent upon speculators increasing prices. It's literally the driving force behind reducing fossil fuel usage.

Democrats promised energy/environmental policies created the inflation, interest rate increases, stock market crash and recession.
