Oil being so worthless producers had to pay refineries to take it. Hillary being cleared of wrongdoing. Massive tax cuts, before Trump spending more in a year than has even been spent in our history. Hundreds of thousands dying. Trump campaign staff and administration officials being sent to prison. A trade war with China..

Yeah, Trump really was absolutely the most ineffectual president ever.

The good news is oil closed down well over 5% and closed at $79 a barrel today. Gasoline fell almost as much at 4.75% to $2.37 a gallon wholesale. Consumers are rejoicing.
Again you only blame private industry while ignoring Democrat policies that force speculators to increase prices.

Democrats campaigned on eliminating fossil fuels, speculators have no choice but to adapt to that, Democrat policies are dependent upon speculators increasing prices. It's literally the driving force behind reducing fossil fuel usage.

Democrats promised energy/environmental policies created the inflation, interest rate increases, stock market crash and recession.

Quit pretending this isn't what you voted for.

Democrats have done more for the oil industry, particularly under President Biden, then any other Republican in modern history. Hell, look at Nixon and his price controls.

A democrat lawmaker literally threatened bank runs on banks that finance the oil industry.

The gaslighting by you and the Democrats just isn't working.

For months Biden has explicitly been taking credit for gas prices dropping, even going so far as to say that him selling oil to China was lowering prices and that he wasn't even done yet in lowering prices.

Now that gas prices are going back up he is accusing oil companies of price gouging.

Funny how that works. I'm sure blaming Putin and Trump will be back on the menu soon.

Oil prices are down 40%, but gas prices haven't fallen anywhere close to that. Due to price gouging, duh. One day the GOP will realize it's war against basic fact, economics and science is a losing position.
