So the Department of Energy, which is who is in charge of our SPR, is "American companies" now?

I'll play along anyway. Which "American companies" are you talking about that are exporting our strategic oil reserves? Be specific.

And feel free to quote what regulations you think I'm requesting. Unless you think I'm requesting regulations for Biden sitting on your face and farting, in which case you should probably be in charge of that.

Companies are going to do what they are paid to do. They aren't the same thing as the Federal Government.

Yes but then how will Seran deflect and dodge questions if this information is part of the equation?

Phillips 66, headquartered in Houston, TX
Atlantic Trading & Marketing Inc., headquartered in Houston, TX

American firms listed above, contacted to purchase oil reserves from the SPR and followed up by making contracts with overseas refiners to purchase the oil. Please call your far right senator and let them know you're all for ending petroleum and petroleum exports again.

You should explain to your buddy Methais whose trying to inflict Biden with responsibility for shutting down free markets and oil exports. I would be all for an executive order doing so.

Or, he just could have not released any of it.

Oil prices rise, Republicans blame Biden, oil companies celebrate.
Oil price rises stop as Biden organizes coordinated EIA member oil reserve releases. Republicans scream, oil companies scream, Americans celebrate.
Oil prices fall, Republicans scream, oil companies cry, Americans celebrate.
Oil companies export oil, Republicans blame Biden, oil companies try to look innocent.

Republicans seem to be upset because Americans are prospering and saving money. Maybe they should realize Big Oil isn't their sole constituency despite all the donations they receive from them.

You're right, Biden couldn't stop Russia from invading Ukraine. Biden couldn't stop Trump from coordinating a mutual OPEC+/American Big Oil production cut in 2020. Biden /did/ stop the rise in oil by opening the SPR. Biden did lower the cost of oil by threatening FTC/DOJ investigations over illegal anticompetitive acts and price collusion.

I'm glad you're understanding why Republicans are so dumb blaming Biden for shit that others broke.

... So Biden is only responsible for good things, but never anything negative?
