You aren't going to solve this issue with more gun laws.

People who commit gun crimes don't follow the law.
Please keep making up 'facts' your inability to source truthful information needs to level up a few more times, you're stuck at 'wilfully ignorant'

Great, he'll pay his $1,950 fine (if convicted), do 6 days in jail (if convicted) and might have to do three months of alcohol counseling to get his license back. Big deal

Roughly 10,000 people a year are killed in drunk driving accidents. Big deal though, who cares, right Seran?

    Seran: That's meaningless.

How many millions of lives are you willing to slaughter to save us all from firearms?

Overview. Every day, about 32 people in the United States die in drunk-driving crashes — that's one person every 45 minutes. In 2020, 11,654 people died in alcohol-impaired driving traffic deaths — a 14% increase from 2019.
    Seran: No big deal.

Turns out he just got off a 3 year probation for a previous DUI.

The school resource office did not engage, he ran away, to his car if I remember correctly and awaited backup/orders.

The point is accurate and the facts don't lie not matter how much you try and twist it to your imagination. When an armed person engages a shooter, lives are saved yet we disarm citizens, pack kids in small areas and then put a big sign up that says "Come kill people here, no one is armed" and yet expect them to be safe. We have tried it the leftist way, bans, gun free zones, no metal detectors, no armed guards and yet still, the carnage continues. And all you and others can whine is that we need to do more because we just haven't done enough. It's just like the Left and Socialism, no matter how it has been tried, in every single case, it fails and ends in tyranny and misery. Every single case, over time, of Socialism is a failure and ends in tyranny. Yet the Left want to keep at it, just one more time, always with some version of "we didn't do enough."

It's time for rational people to stand up, say no more of the stupidity, we need to do what works. Israel has figured out what works and it is an easily copy able model.

Harden entry, everywhere in the school.
Have genuinely armed guards in enough quantity as to be a real deterrent or action force if and when something happens. Armed, trained, equipped and with the mandate that they are responsible to take the first steps to end things if they start.
Weapons and training for citizens who volunteer to carry on school grounds.
Clear and ever present warning that any and all violence on school grounds will be met with deadly force.

They live in a war zone, they had a horrible shooting nearly 50 years ago, they took these steps and they have had none since. What works works and it's time for you and others to pull your head out of collective asses and genuinely protect children.
can you explain to me what you think socialism is?

i really don't get the reasoning behind the "only way to solve the mass shooting problem is to enable more people to do shootings".

also lol at thinking turning a elementary school into a fucking fortress is a good idea. like, how doesn't that sound ridiculous to you? churches are also places where mass shootings happen, as well as supermarkets, night clubs, etc. i guess literally everywhere should just be a fortress with mafia-boss level security patrolling around? sounds like a great country to live in.

the solution to mass shootings isn't more guns. again, we've literally had trained, armed good guys on site for several shootings and nothing has happened. people aren't robots and unless you're a stone code life long soldier most likely things are going to go awry when placed in a situation like that. more bullets flying isn't going to help anything. i don't know what the solution is but that isn't one.

you know that gun control in israel is actually very tight and you have to jump through several hoops and meet a list of criteria to buy or even sell a gun, let alone restrictions on what type of gun and amount of ammunition you can own? australia also had a terrible shooting and then quickly enacted more strict gun control and that seemed to have solved their problem. but, that won't happen in america because our solution is fortified schools and churches.

in your little fantasy where "millions of Americans" are going to be imprisoned or killed when they don't turn in their semi-auto firearms for a $50 gas card.

in this scenario, you'd be breaking the law and fighting against the police because you don't want to give up your arms.

so, i'm asking, why are you so for breaking laws and not respecting the will of law enforcement? how many millions of police officers are you willing to endanger when americans don't turn in their semi-auto firearms for a $50 gas card?
