You also can't use unintentional shootings or suicides in your math either. If someone wants to commit suicide, do you think in their head that if they didn't have a gun, they wouldn't suddenly be suicidal?

Of course not having a gun doesn't make someone less suicidal... It takes away a means with nearly 100% efficiency to end their lives... Suicidal people without guns die at much lower rates. Either way it is death by a gun, even if self inflicted.

I also don't see how this adds up to a "net loss of human life" which is why I asked for your math on the subject.

It's really subjective to be honest. There's no way to quantify it, but even taking suicides out you're looking at a little over 20k dead (number jumps pretty significantly when you add in suicides and maiming). The 65k defensive use of a gun number isn't always someone who is in mortal danger so it's not a 1 to 1 ratio there.
