"BLM co-founder slams 'triggering' charity transparency laws after $6M mansion exposed"

"The co-founder of Black Lives Matter (BLM) slammed the U.S.’s "triggering" charity transparency laws after the organization's purchase of a $6 million Los Angeles mansion was exposed. Patrisse Cullors, a BLM founder, said she found it "triggering" — emotionally compromising — when she hears about financial documents being made public."

ROFL.. yea, BLM... working for the common black person.

Once again, the idiocy of the "masses" allowed this grift - and destruction of numerous cities - to occur. Social media has allowed the lowest common denominator of intelligence among us to expand it's stupidity everywhere.

    Thumbs down CRT in Math

Things are getting out of hand if textbook publishers are including CRT in elementary school math books. How would elementary math be relevant to CRT? The Florida Department of Education did not give any examples of CRT in elemental school math books, leaving us to imagine what it may have been. I bet they had word problems with black sounding names, like "DeShawn had five pieces of candy. He gave two pieces of candy to Tyrone. How many pieces of candy did DeShawn have left?"

The Florida Department of Education announced it has rejected dozens of math textbooks submitted by publishers for schools, saying they "contained prohibited topics" including critical race theory.

Details: Most of the rejected books were for elementary schools, according to the education department's statement.

The department said it's "unfortunate that several publishers" had "ignored" the 2021 directive and "attempted to slip rebranded instructional materials" into books, while others "included prohibited and divisive concepts such as the tenants of CRT or other unsolicited strategies of indoctrination despite FDOE’s prior notification."

Worth noting: The education department described the review process as "transparent," but did not name the rejected textbooks nor provide examples of passages that failed to meet the criteria.

The other side: State Rep. Carlos Smith (D) tweeted Saturday thate DeSantis was "hysterically pulling math books outta FL schools claiming they 'indoctrinate' kids with CRT."

"This isn’t just crazy right-wing pandering— next they’ll spend MILLIONS of tax dollars forcing schools to buy math books from GOP campaign donors," Smith added.

It's racist to assume someone named DeShawn and Tyrone are black.. just fyi.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/covid-vac...093005674.html

"COVID vaccines are not meant to prevent all infections, experts say. Americans need to reset their expectations."

" The vaccines may not prevent all infection, but they still protect against the worst consequences of the disease."

Now they try to clean it up later in the article, as if the "experts" this was expected all along blah blah blah... ROFL...

BUT, do you remember the past 2+ years if someone questioned the efficacy of the vaccine... they were shunned, maligned, disparaged, and belittled? Remember the past 2+ years of people acting as if they couldn't get or spread it because "they got the vaccine, and those evil unvaxxed sought to destroy all of human life?"

    I remember.

Now the "experts" are saying what all rational people have been saying.. and they expect us to all forget? Don't forget... or they'll just bend you over and fuck you again in the future like some prison bitch.

"Biden says that vaccinated people can’t spread COVID-19. That’s not what CDC says."

Wonder why Biden hasn't been banned from all online presence, or news conferences, for spreading MISINFORMATION... like... actual MISINFORMATION.

Oh wait.. he's got a (D) behind his name - and a bunch of moronic people that are to invested in their own egos to think for themselves.

Watch the trailer for Tucker Carlson's new documentary "The End of Men" about declining testosterone levels. Carlson has some really odd theories -- which, out of politeness, I refuse to discuss -- about how men can use certain tanning techniques to increase testosterone levels. https://twitter.com/NikkiMcR/status/1515130557675581442

I can't find the original trailer on Youtube to embed in this forum. I found this altered trailer with the music changed to try to make it funny. To be clear, the images are not changed, just the music.

Can't wait to see examples of passages they claim are CRT or banned subjects. I'm sure this will wind up just being a scam to get voters scared

Uh yeah. No one was ever teaching Critical Race Theory outside of law school and grad school- and even then it's an obscure legal theory that a 3L *might* spend a week reading about in a specifically chosen elective on race or power and the law. And something that very specific interdisciplinary fields (or Anthro/Soc) might study for a week in very specific classes about race or power.

It blew my mind when suddenly a bunch of crazy conservatives were talking about it. Less surprising was the obvious fact that none of them knew anything about it.

This is a long standing white nationalist goal- to keep schools from discussing anything other than white American history- removing all discussion of diversity. And, naturally, the Republican party decided the best way to deal with the hugely significant issue of racism was by....engaging in dog whistle politics and white grievance.

Sure would be nice if they had any interest in actually solving real problems. Oh and if they weren't so gung-ho about embracing old school KKK politics.

Yay, the racist Leftist come out in force to disparage parents right to control what is being taught.

And yes, CRT principles, the idea that everything in history should be viewed through the lens of racism and the idea that we should teach children to be racist and hate themselves is and has been taught for a good while now and it's destructive. Of course you all don't want to really end racism and sexism because then you wouldn't have the specter of racism and victimhood to control the populations you depend on for votes and money.

BTW, common core is about as ridiculous method for teaching math as has ever been developed and is a complete and utter failure. If you cared about kids, you would want to see it gone too but you don't because people that can do math end up not voting for Socialists.
