The gargoyle on this earring is hunched, its wings flag against its back. Its eyes blaze with an unnatural light, and it's rhythmically clenching and unclenching its front talons as it gazes about, a snarl on its face.

This gargoyle earring is a wearable, living(ish) gargoyle. When worn, it acts much like a earring.

Due to the special nature of these gargoyles, they cannot be altered in the typical sense. However certain merchants may be willing to change which "type" you have, changing what it pretends to be when you wear it. The options are: Earring, Necklace, Ring, and Bracelet. Not all merchants will be willing to do this!
This earring is currently UNLOCKED, which means that you can use WEAR, REMOVE, TOUCH, PULL, PROD, and also POINT it at people!

You get no sense of whether or not the earring may be further lightened.

You lift your gargoyle earring to your ear, and it makes a surprisingly deep growling noise. As the lobe comes within reach, the gargoyle leaps forward and snaps its jaws shut, clenching the sensitive flesh in its toothy maw. It hangs there, swaying softly from its own momentum, its eyes watchful.

>touch earr
You idly fiddle with your gargoyle earring. As soon as you touch it, you feel a low vibration against your earlobe. It takes a moment, but you realize that the gargoyle earring is growling at you. You slowly withdraw your hand.

>pull earr
You reach over and tug on your gargoyle earring. The gargoyle squeals slightly and sinks its talons into your earlobe, nearly piercing the skin. When you let go, your gargoyle earring swivels its head slightly and gives you a flat look, its wings arched menacingly.

>prod earr
You prod your gargoyle earring, and the gargoyle suddenly leaps into the air, opens its mouth wide and emits a huge gout of flame into the area ahead of you! As you watch, the flame molds itself into rough letters. As it settles into place, the text can be discerned, and reads "U FEER DRED LORD!". After a moment, the flames dissipate entirely and the gargoyle returns to its original position atop your earring.

The gargoyle atop your gargoyle earring looks patronizingly at Cadaveur and mutters, "Those pointy ears way too nice-looking... wishes he had strong, wide ears like the Dread Lord's..."

You reach a hand over and gently prod your gargoyle earring. The gargoyle slumps, relaxing its body, and gives you a reproachful look as it drops into your palm.
