Your mask verses the China virus:

    Have to love the logic.

Some have power to impose mask mandates.

Other's don't have the power to stop mask mandates.

I don't care if you wear a mask or not, it's the duplicity of the nature of the argument.

    It's pretty amazing.

First it was: Oh no! Trump isn't gonna shut the entire country down like we want him to! Leave it up to the governors or else you're a dictator!
So the governors, mostly Democrats, happily obliged with their demands to shut everything down.
Now that some governors are like okay enough is enough, no more mandates, now they're like "Oh no! The governors aren't gonna shut everything down like we want them to! Leave it up to school officials of all people."

Wow.. even Bill Maher is coming around.

He was great in the 90s with his show. Last 10 or so he's been feeding off the easy hate for the Right, and his humor took a downturn because it was such repetitive nonsense.

The past few months though he's actually taking chances again, and saying some actual "politically incorrect" (by modern standards) commentary.

    This segment though, is fact.

In all honesty, we could probably use a 4 to 5 year good depression, to remind the populous how good (relatively speaking) those in the US have it compared to the majority of the rest of the world.

And anyone that says some European country is better as a counter-point... should recognize Europe is only what it is, because of America for the past 75+ years.

ROFL. Now they're coming after Mayim Bialik, because she said years back.. "Now, do I think we give way too many vaccines in this country compared to when I was a vaccinated child? Yes," she said, and added that there is a "tremendous profit" made from vaccines and "the medical community often operate[s] from a place of fear in order to make money."

And the TwitterVerse is all hopping mad that she may be "anti-vax". LOL.

Couple other things they latched onto, but for fucks sake people have straight up lost their minds. The world would be so much better if the internet and mass data streams was turned off for a year. Let people reset and actually see one another as humans again.

LOL. That's a good one. Left out Pakistan, Russia, and a few others though.

I did find this interesting though... https://www.yahoo.com/news/afghanist...141414165.html

That's how much the "mainstream" news media (even though they aren't - they're just on in airports) - covered Afghanistan less than an hour per year between 2015-2019, and only 5 minutes on average in 2020.

Now I know, people on here don't like giving Trump credit for anything what-so-ever.. but considering we hadn't had one casualty since FEB 2020 until just the other day, attempts at a peace deal were made (of course the details up for debate), and for the most part the US role was quietly and safely being conducted in as stable of an Afghanistan you could expect during the majority of his Presidency... just saying.

Fast forward 7 months and... just saying.

That's incorrect, there were a total of ten casualties in 2020, three between March and December.
