Because there is an obvious difference between intelligence/potential and educational attainment. Grades don't reflect intelligence. They reflect a giant combination of factors, most of which can be boiled down to things like zip code, demographics, and family/home conditions.

The fact that we're recognizing that being a child of color in this country comes with unique- and often substantial- structural disadvantages and are trying to compensate for them isn't racist.

Pretending like those things aren't true and then trying to stop people from helping children of color- that's racist.

Or, in other words, mentioning race and how it affects people isn't racist. Intentionally ignoring those things as rule is, in fact, racist.

So you think POC's should NOT get an education, and standards be LOWERED to ensure that POC's "graduate". Because that is what is happening.

Stop thinking they're something "other" than you. You don't lower expectations for the child, you raise the expectations of the adults that are supposed to teach/lead them.

The alt-leftist outrage mob nearly got a grandfather and his entire family murdered, and the MLB team the Colorado Rockies went along with the madness.

tl;dr: The announcer during the game, MLB, The Rockies, ESPN, the media, crazy alt-leftist mother fuckers like Keith Olbermann, etc, all claimed a fan shouted racial slurs at a black baseball player at the Rockies' stadium.

Turns out the grandfather was with his wife and grandchildren and was shouting at the Rockies' mascot Dinger because he wanted the mascot to pose for a picture with his whole family.

Keith Olbermann literally suggested that the Rockies should have APPREHENDED the fan and told us exactly what they "did to him." For real!

Now to be fair I listened to the audio and I gotta admit it does sound like what they thought it sounded like...BUT! Someone along the way should have stopped and said "Wait a minute, do we really believe in the year 2021 some random old white dude is gonna take issue with some random black baseball player when 8% of all players are black and upwards of 20% of players have been black during this man's lifetime and that he's just gonna scream a racial slur? Maybe we should put out a statement saying we are investigating this first before we rush out a statement condemning this man for being a racist."

Thankfully it doesn't look like the man's name was reported, but the Rockies found the man as did several other news stations so clearly it wasn't that hard to figure out considering the Rockies shared video of the man shouting "Dinger." The man has said he is fearing for his life and the lives of his family.

Good job, alt-leftists! You are so desperate to find them racists that you almost got an innocent grandfather murdered because he had the audacity to want a picture of his team's mascot and his grandchildren.

Look at the break down of kids living in single parent homes by race. There are some "family/home conditions" that have more impact than "structural disadvantages".

Single parent families have pretty terrible consequences for *MOST* children, especially when the single parent isn't very financially stable.
