A constitutional republic is supposed to mitigate that - allowing people to live with like minded people in the various States - problem is, the Federal Government has gone overboard in control, and insane people travel from state to state causing discord.

I mean you literally had Democratic politicians telling people to move to different states like a month before certain elections were occurring in order to help "win" it over. That's just a horrific abuse of the intent of the republic, and an artificial imposition of policies on people in a place by others who are not even invested in the region. Absolutely pathetic IMO.

If that fucking election bill makes it through Congress, forbidding any state from checking IDs for voting - we are truly and royally fucked. They want to control everyone - they have fully decimated the "live and let live" philosophy this country was trying to achieve.

I could potentially see a verbal counseling or something, with regards to something like "as a leader be more cognizant of the current political climate, and temper verbalizing opinions on non-sanctioned media platforms" - but to just get straight fired? Nah... plenty of Officers speak out with comments on media - this guy just made the mistake to say what's what and the administration can't have that.
