Probably with some butter, salt and pepper. I'm not really focusing on green beans when a steak is involved.

    May I suggest the following?

Combine the green beans with some thin cut red onion, toss lightly in some olive oil and salt. Put them on a sheet pan at 375 for 20ish minutes (to your preference of doneness). Drizzle with some balsamic vinegar before eating.

You can easily substitute lemon for the balsamic vinegar, but it won't be quite as sweet.

Broccoli with olive oil, kosher salt, garlic, pepper and dill cooked at the same temperature and a bit longer is delicious

I don't think he's looking for a green bean recipe that will turn him gay.

White onions and bacon fat, you can thank me later.

Chicken chilequiles. Not from scratch or anything. Trader Joe's.

For green beans I like to saute some cubed ham in olive oil, add green beans and crushed garlic, then add a little soy sauce and brown sugar. Simple and tasty.

I'll try that but replace the green beans with bacon and sans the olive oil and with the lemon.
