I'm going to go back to this. Read this document and the police make it sound like he had a heart attack and died after resisting arrest. Security camera video makes it clear that at least part of this is a lie: he did not resist arrest. He complied when they asked him to step out of his car, and allowed himself to be led across the street. What happened between then and the 8 minutes and 50 seconds of kneeling on his neck will come out eventually, but I can't imagine what would have made it seem like an OK idea to continue restraining him after he was no longer conscious and didn't have a pulse. Unless you wanted to make sure he was dead.
I don't use Lich. If you want to do business with me, contact me via PM, IG, or on AIM. Or maybe use smoke signals. Don't like it, get off of my lawn.
I haven't seen the video but it's noteworthy that "resisting arrest" is more than just not allowing the police to put cuffs on you or something.
Basically "resisting arrest" is any action which hinders the officer's ability to arrest someone, so if he was on the ground and the officer told him to stay on the ground but he kept trying to stand up that is resisting arrest. Not saying a fucking knee to the neck is the right way to respond to such a situation if he was indeed trying to stand up, just throwing that out there.
There is a conspiracy theory out there that the officer wanted to kill Floyd because the club they both worked at were doing some illegal shit and the officer was ordered to kill him.
Of course I'm sure that's all bullshit but the conspiracy theory points out some interesting facts:
They both worked at the same club.
The club was burned down during the riots.
If there was any investigation into the club the evidence would have been at the police station that was also burned down.
The mayor flat out said he ordered the police to abandon the police station and let the rioters take it over.
The mayor, a far leftist, is also strangely against shutting down the police. He has to defend them because the mayor and police are all in on this!
