I thought handing over the articles of impeachment was more symbolic, like "Hey here is why we are impeaching the president." I didn't think they literally hand delivered the articles.

And even if that's how it works does it really take 9 people to walk the articles over and oh let's be sure we tell everyone exactly what time it happens so we can have cameras rolling while we all look like we are handing over secret orders that will end the war 2 years sooner and save millions of lives?

This is how radicalized people want to cover for Trump being an awful president. Its a weird combination of denial and projection. When someone is incompetent its not a grand conspiracy to come out and say it. It may seem like insanity to a blind loyalist.

The main problem with Trump is his whipping up racial tensions and fears to get voters. His language about immigrants being rapists and murderers, his saying there were good people on both sides of the biggest white supremacist rally in recent years where an innocent protester was murdered, his calling countries with dark people "shit hole" countries while lamenting on why more scandinavians don't immigrate, his muslim ban, his painting American congresspeople as traitors to the country and telling them to go back to where they came from, his constant stream of hatred at his rallies and on twitter. Thats just off the top of my head. I've said it before. A good economy is not worth it when our president is a racist asshole.

You didn't think, that's for sure. All articles are hand delivered to the Senate, as are all bills going to the Whitehouse. If you're butthurt the articles of impeachment were walked by procession onto the floor of the Senate, I'd remind you that the Impeachment Managers on the Clinton impeachment also accompanied the bill being delivered to the secretary of the Senate. The only difference being Senate was not in session when Clinton's were delivered, so there was no opportunity to announce them on the floor.
