That's not how CNN is spinning it at all. They pointed out every single thing you just posted.

I believe it was said, "being an asshole is slightly less popular then being a liberal".

Oh, maybe it's just NBC and MSNBC then.

In stunning upset, Democrat Beshear is apparent winner in Kentucky governor race, a blow to Trump, NBC projects

Now, though, Republicans may begin to worry about their prospects in next year's elections if the president is unable to deliver his base in a state he won by 30 percentage points in 2016.

Yeah, CNN has played it out in the reality it is. Beven is a cock who's probably the least liked governor in America. They talked about McConnell's protege winning the AG race and that Mitch is probably drinking bourbon tonight because he hates Beven. They also talked about Beshear's family legacy helping out tremendously.

MSNBC is the worst. Toss up if they or Fox are the bigger hacks.

they also talked about how Obama had the same effect on the Democrats while he was president....costing them governorships and state legislative bodies.

Well let's not go crazy here. I'll grant you MSNBC and Fox News are probably about on par with one another in terms of their hackery, but CNN is still the reigning Fake News champ.

Has Trump really cost Republicans governorships or state legislative bodies though? We can't really count Beven; a Republican governor in Kentucky is actually an anomaly to begin with. I think he was just the second Republican governor in Kentucky in the past 60 or 70 years or something?

I like John King's election coverage. It's always fair. Watching him try to convince all the other CNN hosts that Trump was going to win was pretty funny. They didn't want to believe it. LOL

Well, that's 9 governorships that have flipped since Trump was elected. I'm actually not too sure about state legislatures. Virginia tonight. I really mean that they lost the house in 2018.

and I don't really know if Trump is the reason, but Obama was blamed for all the seats the democrats lost over 8 years, so I'm blaming Trump for it also.
