Apparently Trump was likening Cortez to Evita Peron. So Cortez, being the dumbass that she is, decided to look up some quotes from Peron and decided that she liked being compared to her.
Here are the tweets:
“I know that, like every woman of the people, I have more strength than I appear to have.”
- Evita Perón https://twitter.com/nypost/status/1147898751006191617 …Only problem is Peron was a Nazi sympathizer and her husband, the president of Argentina, provided a safe haven for Nazis after WW2. Peron's husband was a dictator that was so unliked he was exiled from the country.“I had watched for many years and seen how a few rich families held much of Argentina's wealth and power in their hands. So the government brought in an eight hour working day, sickness pay and fair wages to give poor workers a fair go.”
- Evita Perón
Maybe Cortez should have done just a bit more research on Peron other than a couple of quotes to make sure she wasn't embracing being likened to a Nazi sympathizer who was married to a dictator that provided a safe haven to Nazis and was run out of the country because he was so unpopular.
But you know none of this will be on MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NYT, Washington Post, or any of that other shit. No, they are too busy trying to tie Epstein to Trump somehow.
