If you're intelligent it is even easier, because you'd be smart enough to shut the fuck up and do what you're told for 3 months and you'd have realized it is just a system.
I mean, it wasn't even that physically demanded if you were in moderate shape for an 18 year old. If you were a fat fuck it probably sucked though.

We used to PT on a big hill called Currahee where I was stationed in Georgia. In the Army. Before the Marines. Three miles up, three miles down. Our NCOs were cool, and the 2nd Lieutenants were great, but our 1st Lieutenant was way into dinosaurs and fairly high strung. Nobody wanted to follow him into combat.

Don't listen to Gelston. Accidents and bad stuff do happen all the time. When I was stationed at Miramar Naval Aviator School in Miramar California, a tragic accident cost one navigator his life. His partner's plane performed a maneuver too close to another plane and got caught in the jetwash, which caused a burnout. His ejection seat malfunctioned and he died. It was a real bummer at the end of the second ac...my second tour.
