I think it was more the fact wyrom realized he would either have to ban players for using lich and have everyone quit.....or subpoena tillman, and all that drama/time/lawyers/money/bad press over zaoloo talking shit to someone, possibly told to go fuck himself and lich shut down anyway, or take the path of least resistance and decide simu won't enforce policy on lich which is what he decided. More than anyones script code knowhow.

My only take away from this thread... is that I hope we can all exercise some better creativity for insults and belittling.

The moral of the story is people are soft as baby shit nowadays, if you don't like something, ignore it like a normal human being. Being offended and outraged is en vogue right now, and it's ruining this country.

Wyrom probably didn't even want to deal with this shit. This came from higher ups and he just did the task he was assigned. Now there's an explicit rule about third party stuff so he won't have to deal with this anymore. Win win.
