What to hunt?

What's the easiest for a sorcerer to hunt around landing after lvl 10?

10-15
15-20?

Easy critable monster

10-15 large ogres

15-20 the bug in sol haven, warferers, fire cats, bla bla bla

10-15: Krolvin mercenaries/warriors (outside abandoned krolvin mine north of mants and thraks)

15-20: wind witches/thunder trolls (south of ocoma vale)


Least thats what I did for my sorcerer.

After that it was the lake in solhaven with Pra'eda/Fengahi/cougars/centaurs until upper 20's then Castle Varunar and corpses.

If your in icemule, Crocs, Monkeys and crabs are pretty rich for the 10-15 range.

15-20, start with vereri, then move on to wights, that should take you right up to 28ish, where you can start in on Trees and farmhands, which wil move you right up near 40ish. Then your bound for pinefar

What sux about that path is the fact you'll remain DIRT poor.

Large ogres give boxes of around 15-20 pounds and generate 2 (ogres) per minute.

Yours seem ok, but monkeys were 6 (don't know now) and Croc 8. Takes long to fry and Croc are VERY hard to death crit.

Crab are ok if you skin, and leaves some cheap gems.

Last time I was in monkies, I got a 40lb box They are renouned for dropping wands galore.

As for crocks being uncrittable..she's a Sorcerer. 701 works WONDERS now days..and is one of my level 70's fav spells to hunt with.

5 mana to kill one, and it would take around 12 monsters to fry, so a good 60 mana.

1.5xing Harness Power, you can have 60 mana somewhere around level 11 or 12.
