But that wasn't an opinion piece.

    COLD HARD FACTS!

I apologize to any feminists that were offended by the words "hard" as it's promoting the patriarchy.

I would also like to apologize to people who live near the equator, as cold must be offensive to them.

Furthermore I would also like to apologize to CNN, as facts are very offensive over there.

    I'm such a bigot. I apologize.

    Trump surrendered to the transgenders..

In deciding not to appeal court rulings, the Trump administration has paved the way for transgender people to enlist in the U.S. military starting Monday.

The Department of Justice withdrew its legal challenge to several federal court rulings that blocked President Trump from banning transgender people from enlisting in the U.S. armed services.

The takeaway here isn't that social liberals were right, again, for the millionth time in a row. (Although they were.)

The takeaway is that the President knew full well they were going to be, and at no point consulted any actual people involved in the Department of Defense, and went through with it anyway.

    Why?

Because he knew you people would eat it up with a spoon and a knife and a fork. To understand this President you must understand that his only understanding of politics is the campaign. Understand? Shout and blither and have people holler and cheer and this President considers it a win. Put in the actual hard work of composing and supporting legislation? Nah, that's for nerds. That's why we still have Obamacare, that's why you personally are still subsidizing poor peoples' healthcare, that's why we haven't built that wall, that's why we haven't locked her up, etc., etc., et al, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

But there is a way out. You don't even have to change your personal philosophies. I can guarantee you that Michael Richard Pence will nominate the judges you want, will sign the legislation you want, will veto the legislation you hate (should it come to that). You just have to stop pretending that a New York banker billionaire in any way deserves your defense. You know the "kids who were born in 2000 can legally buy drinks now" memes? Kids who were born when President Trump was a registered Democrat aren't even out of elementary school yet: as late as September 2009 he was a Democrat.

Meanwhile Michael Richard Pence has been a Republican since President Reagan.

So the question you have to ask yourself is do you expect a flailing frontrunner to stay the course? Or a solid party line company man?
Hasta pronto, porque la vida no termina aqui...
America, stop pushing. I know what I'm doing.

Clyder didn't get any responses in over an hour so who suddenly is the first person to respond? Notice you never see Clyder and Latrinsorm in the same room at the same time?

    Think about it.

I'm not sure exactly where the point got changed here, but remember in the 80s when the movie Stripes came out and the premise was "Well we suck at life. Let's join the military for some money"? And then in the 90s when In The Army Now came out and the premise was "Well we suck at life. Let's join the military for some money"? That's generally been how military service has been viewed for a long time now. And by a long time now, I mean pretty much all of recorded history except in the instance of slave armies and short term membership boosts around nationalistic rallying cries.
Those are running jokes. Just like gay people like neon colors, short shorts, and fluffy puppies. Or whites are poor white trash that bang their sister. Or blacks are only good at basketball and avoiding child support. Or Asians are the smartest people in the world but have the smallest dicks. I could go on an on.

See how your stereotype is complete bullshit? And don't get all upset about what I said above, I pretty much quoted Dave Chappelle jokes.

The military is a job. I do agree with you on that. It is a job with very specific requirements (even though our Government sometimes acts dumb and lowers the standards, which I completely disagree with)... The only people that "view the military" as you said.. are usually those that haven't served, or think they're better than those that have. So are you better than all those people? Because unless you've discovered the cure to cancer or are the largest philanthropist on the planet, I'm going to make a safe assumption you're not. Possibly you served, I don't know. But if you didn't take advantage of, or if you were a leader and didn't help your subordinates take advantage of, what the military has to offer... then that's on you.

People that denigrate the military as full of "dumb people or those that suck at life", as you do, must not realize what it offers it's members. Some that join do come from very bad conditions, poor backgrounds, or violent situations. The military gives those people a purpose, an education, discipline, and the opportunity to improve their lives and that of their families. Many, many of them take advantage of it. Some do not (these are the idiots that even others in the military can't stand).

So I guess you are not for the poor or downtrodden to have a path to improving their lives? You want them to continue to "suck at life"? Real caring person you are.

As for transgender people in the military. I personally do not care. Do and be whatever you want to be. Doesn't phase me one bit.

Professionally I am not versed enough in the mental or physical health considerations required to support their service. 99% of everyone that comments on this situation or pushes for it are not either. What I know though from a leadership perspective, is that will require more attention and care than a "normal" Soldier would. That's just a simple fact. Those in the military will make it work because that is their job. The potential strain it will place on readiness has yet to be determined, but in my opinion the strain on leadership will be extreme.

Everyone knows that this applies to all members of the Armed Services except the Marines.. it's common knowledge they all suck at life.
