At its most basic, Prime is for Prime players/characters only. No Plat or Shattered. However, it's not meant to be "anything goes" like the LNet channel. I don't care if people cuss or talk about OOC things, but some stuff should stay on LNet, like talking about dildos and heated political debates. Drama and flame wars will also be handled with warnings and gags. Prime should be relief from the LNet channel and a good place for new players to get help and not be turned off from the game.

I'm completely on board with this description. I turned off lnet to get away from all of that but I still like being able to discuss game things and help people out when I can (which prime is great for). I've also gotten to the point that people who do consistently use prime like lnet get ignored almost immediately, as do people who irk me. I'm apparently turning into an anti-social hermit and all you damn whippersnappers better get off my lawn!
