Vizio bought by the Chinese. From what i've read they already did most of their assembly in Asia anyway (who doesnt?), but it was neat that it was considered an American TV-electronics brand that was actually worth a damn.

Hehe. Yeah. I'm not personally a fan of any of their hardware, but it's all suuuper Chinese/Mongolian/Taiwanese. They didn't just outsource. They flat out bought factories so they could control the flow of information in and out of them so their patents didn't get leaked.
